Wonder buying AIRasia ticket in foreign currency qualifies for the "5% Overseas Cash Back Campaign"?
Can we register for both as if they are exclusive in awarding CB?

bear in mind that 2nd promo is for mastercard only

Just nice for the Prefered Platinum Mastercard, funny thing is the SMS invitation for this promo stated upto 10% CB.
Eventhough I din received SMS for the 1st promo, I still registered my YOLO for it because of the 11% CB.

It was already in my unbilled transactions (26/10)  cry.gif
For it to credit to me means I have to wait for another month's statement?
*
Since u already got the CB, it should already be included in your outstanding amt which u have settled. Case closed card cancelled.

You paid before 8am? Suggest you to pay after 8am for same day posting.

Could it be that after office hours, their payment system falls back on foreign site's system?

CODE
Actual transaction          Transaction date in statement
Nov  1  7:41AM                         Oct 31  (UK 23:41)
Oct 21 11:32PM                        Oct 20
Oct 24  8:08AM                         Oct 24 (UK 00:08)
Sept 29 2:28AM                         Sept 28 (uk 18:28)

yes i made the payment ~ 7.41AM
But if you see above, I still cannot make good sense to predict the pattern

maybe you are correct, must make it during office hour 8AM-5PM
need more data to support
*
But I am stumped by this:
Oct 21 11:32PM Oct 20
Are u sure transaction date in statement is Oct20?
Foreign system probably based in UK, 8 hrs earlier.

Yolo Plat has 2 version, Lite and normal. So every Yolo card will have a Plat wording on the card, just that you won't know whether it is a Lite version or not.

If your income record in UOB system is more than RM36k when you converted or applied Yolo, then it is safe to say yours is normal Plat. Lite Plat will only be issued if system determines that you are not qualified for the card.
Yup, couldn't find any info about it anywhere. Problem is all the CS are aware of the existence of Lite version of CC. That's what pisses me off.
Calling CS is the fastest. If not you can email them to ask. Even internet banking and statement won't tell you that.

In d statement it is stated as YOLO Platinum.

Dont ever bother to waste time and effort to call up TNB or email them for refund. I tried once when I paid several account with both my Wise and PBVS. Called TNB at their careline, either nobody pick up or you wait for at least 10 minutes. Whoever answer your call direct you to another TNB branch, I was given the TNB branch no. for 3 different branch and could not get any outcome.

When email the TNB careline, they keep asking for proof of payment, which I show/emailed them the UOB Payonline screenshot etc. Given the documents over 10 times as they keep saying they didnt receive my documents. I called TNB almost everyday to follow up, over 10 emails on the same issue on the refund sent in a week and nothing was done, not even acknowledged that they have received my documents. After few days, the reply from TNB was - too many emails/ inbox and they cant receive the email.

GOt pissed and just forget it. You can imagine the frustration and anger when you have sent your documents for proof of payment at 12pm today and 2pm later, they send an email saying that "we are still yet to receive your documents". Then you send at 4pm today, tomorrow 9am, they send the email again stating "we are still yet to receive your documents".

It took 1 month and there was totally no progress. In conclusion, once money is out, dont bother asking for refund. Unless you are lucky to get the right person to handle your refund. Good luck and let me know if you have done it successfully. I am done and over with dealing with TNB.

Anyway, if you have overpaid your TNB, the amount will be reflected in your next bill. I rather owe them than they owe me, because they are not efficient at all, apatah talking about efficient in cutting your electricity line if you didnt pay for months.
*
If it is just a couple of months then let it be. Last year I overpaid tTNB 30-month bills during a CC campaign, so after the campaign instead of leaving it with TNB, I went to the branch listed in my bill to request for refund. They required me to fill up a form with my bank account n after a few weeks the money was refunded to my bank account.

Let's see how it goes. biggrin.gif

Anybody wants to call them? laugh.gif
So far I haven't used my YOLO for PosOnline though.

Hopefully it is due to them being overwhelm by the sudden surge of ppl using CC to pay thru them, n now revamping their system to avoid similar delays like in the past.
