QUOTE(aeonsakura @ Oct 13 2016, 12:48 PM) before i received my yolo card, they send me a mail. they deactivate and disappeared before i activate my new card. (at the same day i receive the mail) hereI see. I prefer they don't deactivate mine because I don't want trouble later in receiving cash back for my VOX.

I called last Thursday, to request for the yolo card, approved this monday according to CS, but normal post... i wonder when i'll receive it... so according to CS can't view cards that are not activated yet online... You can actually with a trick. Check the option which changes PIN, it will display all your cards include those are not activated.

QUOTE(edwardccg @ Oct 13 2016, 04:55 PM) I got another call from UOB, which will read TnC for me so that the application can proceed. It will ready in 7-14 workings days. She also mention the YOLO 2nd year will be auto waived with 20k total spend annually I will never spend that high for this card. Why nobody call and read out T&C for me or the criteria for waiver? I also cannot achieve 20k.

QUOTE(alexwsk @ Oct 13 2016, 08:56 PM) this confirms that you are indeed VIP customer they will follow your tnc instead more than RM833.3 already no benefit, so for me won't even hit RM12k Don't la tease me like this. Yes, me too. Let's see how this card will fare before thinking about AF. Another community service today, charged my Grab card payment to this card today.

QUOTE(alchmiya @ Oct 13 2016, 10:33 PM) I cancelled VOX card last Thursday. Today I received a call to offer me YOLO card. When I ask about annual fee, they say will waive for 2 years and they never mentioned any other condition. I hope you have this person's name and confirmation in black and white. They can promise you everything but at the end, they may not honour it. So, best is to keep a record for yourself.

QUOTE(warren11 @ Oct 14 2016, 12:00 AM) Hi All, May I confirm for the YOLO CB as below PayPal: RM780 Others: RM400 Is it confirm can get the CB (RM780*6%) for PayPal? Need to purposely top up another RM20 online spending to make it RM800 on the safe side? Thanks You only need to spend RM 500 to activate cash back for the eligible categories. For 6%, you will need RM 800 accumulated transactions. You already have RM 400 spending earlier, more than enough.

QUOTE(gastacopz @ Oct 14 2016, 01:06 AM) but i thought cashback only eligible for these 2 categories? for YOLO card if based on their tncs as above post  but again, i might be wrong Well, his question was about eligibility of cash back. Rightfully, one only needs to spend RM 500 to activate cash back eligibility. To maximize it you will need to spend RM 833.33 for online category. Back to his question, his RM 780 is already enough because he has other spending of RM 400 and enough to activate 6%. I think that answers his question. Want to maximize it, that's another answer to it and not just RM 800. This post has been edited by fruitie: Oct 14 2016, 01:13 AM

QUOTE(gastacopz @ Oct 14 2016, 01:13 AM) im done with that question im replying to the person i quoted above... not sure which is correct I edited a bit... Forgot some points earlier. And I'm with adele123. You can spend RM 800 on anything (except for online and dining to get 6% for online and 3% for dining) and spend RM 200 on online, you will still get RM 12. But in order to maximize it, we still encourage one to spend in these two categories. For my case, I will only spend RM 833.33 on online transactions. I hope I didn't confuse myself.

QUOTE(NightFelix @ Oct 14 2016, 02:33 PM) Wait what? 2 years free? I thought according to TnC is first year free? Standard is free first year, anything more than that will be promised by their own marketing team. Well, they can promise everything but whether it will be honoured eventually, that's another story. So get them to confirm in black & white.

QUOTE(laymank @ Oct 14 2016, 03:13 PM) Just downloaded the statement today. And now I am confused what is the RM49.99 credit in my YOLO. Initially I thought it's a transfer from my VOX, but now I am not sure any more. And the description of the payment is not helping, too. I supposed it is a transfer from VOX. Did you request for it? Mine didn't transfer yet because I haven't requested for it, still in VOX account and I also got my statement today. How much did you spend on YOLO and what were the transactions about? QUOTE(laymank @ Oct 14 2016, 03:30 PM) the RM49.99 in my VOX is being used to ofset what I spent on VOX. the RM49.99 in my YOLO is also being used to offset what I spent on YOLO. I only used for 1 transaction for POSOnline as seen on the statement. Just not sure where does the RM49.99 payment come from. So, I don't think it's a transfer and I am absolutely sure I didn't pay a payment. Erm, I didn't see it offset any VOX payment?

QUOTE(laymank @ Oct 14 2016, 03:49 PM) For my case, if it is a cashback, I would have expected it to be RM50.00, instead of RM49.99. And the description should also say something like cashback. So in my case, I can't confirm if POSOnline is entitle for cashback. I think they made a mistake actually. Double payment for your VOX cash back. It is not your YOLO cash back from how I see it.
