They will be implementing back the 5% cashback for all transactions on weekends for Amex, capped at RM50 with no minimum spending. So don't really need the promo anymore I think..

I hit my september cash back eligibility by swipping >1k in overseas on 10th september, but i still havent get my september cash back..why arj? is it this campaign exclude all overseas trnx?

Online purchase using foreign payment gateway sometimes can distort the transaction date to weekday. Have u check the recorded transaction date?

Sushi King? Sushi King stops accepting American Express credit cards effective 1st February 2017.
Based on The Payment Card Reform Framework stipulated by Bank Negara Malaysia, regardless of whether credit card is Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit card, merchant should pay same 1.1 % interchange fee to card issuer bank (bank that issues the credit cards to customers).

It seems that the card issuer bank illegally imposes much higher interchange fee for American Express credit cards,  to the merchants, thus the merchants stop accepting American Express credit cards, to keep operating cost down.

Anyone, any thought on this matter?

2) Weigh yourself if RM 2 is more or the amount of cash rebate from your monthly TM bill is more.

More than RM1, let's say my monthly statement around RM90+ including GST, I pay RM70 manually using weekend 5% CB and the rest RM20+ will pay by Autopay.
I will get around RM3.50 from the 5% CB and RM2 rebate from TM.

2.Just pay rm22 less of your monthly charge on a weekend, monthly. Don't need cancel autodebit. You still have the rm2.

Autopay will pay the statement amount if not mistaken. In this case you have to pay during weekend before the statement date.

Have been doing that with pbe visa signature. Got three accounts so save about rm3 per month la. Lol

It is already mentioned to "selected" payee. Not every payee.
You can try out by selecting AMEX as the account you want to debit from.
You can experiment till the page where you need to confirm for payment.
My guess is no charge since you mentioned no additional charge from your other Maybank account (CASA I believe).
