i recently saw maybank amex campaign for cashback for tnb payment. I just realized maybank no longer giving 5x points for TNB payment. Thank god Astro still got

Need to wait unti March 15 to see if bill payment via m2u using amex will be entitled for 5% cashback or 5x treatpoints

previously able to get cashback + 5x TP paying tnb via m2u on weekend

nowadays maxis and astro also listed..hoping!!

I tried TNB they recently updated so no longer get 5x TP, but astro bill payment still

During the heyday of the amex 2 card, you able to get 5x points + 5% cb just for doing the payment on weekends

too bad lazada does not accept amex, at least 11st does

and mbb lazada promo is on wednesday

if petrol included than awesome, so we will get 5%+5x TP for petrol?? By value the 5x TP is equivalent to 1.25% CB so 6.25% CB pretty much in total

So far the announcement just mentioned 5% CB for weekend. If transaction via m2u is entitled, I will definitely stop Maxis DD with CIMB Cashback card

Things to look into are TNB, Maxis and Astro bill payment via m2u.

Additional note I will definitely ask etiqa to charge my amex on saturday again for my car insurance renewal

ooh and another 1...i always link my amex with tng zing auto reload, previously I got 5x TP + 5% CB. Currently just left with the 5x TP...so another hope to aim the auto reload to be on weekends only again after this

I am wondering, previously (years ago) I always have trouble using AMEX card in Petronas. Is that still an issue? I tried Shell always no problem with any card

Im not sure about the list, but back in the day, i got 5% + 5TP for m2u bill payment using amex for TNB, Astro and Maxis

The bill payment option with amex is still there, only right now without the 5% cashback, and for TNB even without the 5xTP, but as for maxis, and astro still got 5tp. Not forget to mention about auto reload zing card on weekend also can get 5tp, and back in the day with 5% cashback

I can confirm on Astro payment using amex since I am still doing it (ocassionally)

But for TNB just 1x

TM & Maxis cannot comment, whether or not they consider it part of 'utilities'
