Anyone noticed they keep slowly increasing the points required for redemption without telling everyone?
Last time Aeon RM100 vouchers required just over 40,000 points, then 42,000+ points, now it's at 46,400 points..

Those points are from their online catalogue, which means each RMM100 voucher is 46,400 points. So if I redeem RM500 worth, the postage would be 6,400 x 5: 32,000 points as postage cost??
That's really shady...

Maybe it was 400TP last year but now it has increased to 4.4?
I have 440k points now, wondering if the most worthwhile conversion is air miles..

Seems like it's cheaper to get it done at service centre.. weird on the double standard with their online rewards though..

The MB 2 Cards Premier looks great however the annual fee of RM800 is putting me off

6k+ postage points per voucher is bs la!!
But all cash back cards are capped at RM50 per month right? Except for OCBC although only at 1% rebate

even with regular income, if your age exceeds 65 yrs old it is very difficult to get a new card approved (new BN ruling), unless:
1) You have inside contacts in the bank which in turn will request you to:
2) Open a fixed deposit collateral with that bank

3) You are some conglomerate/filthy rich with an account with them

The last I've checked, Maxis no longer accept Amex for direct debit. As they now outsource the DD payment platform to 3rd party, they only accept Visa/MasterCard.

Less than 2 years ago, Amex was accepted. However I had to cancel my Amex due to fraud few months ago, was issued a new Amex card and when I wanted to change my DD card number to the new Amex card I was unable to do so anymore as they've moved away to the new platform

Ughh I wasn't even paying attention to the CB promotion or I would have utilized for Aug and Sept too...

I received Nov but Oct and Dec haven't. Probably diff batch still behind others.

They will be implementing back the 5% cashback for all transactions on weekends for Amex, capped at RM50 with no minimum spending. So don't really need the promo anymore I think..

I place more importance towards TP than CB though. The amount of TP I have if converted to cash outweighs my CB lol
