you can pay onto your card in advance for the difference. I will suggest about 12K and then you can swipe 20K

Top up your credit using CDM or interbank from other banks. Cannot use M2U as it won't allow to pay excess payment.

Yes. Provided you don't have existing outstanding amount and that RM 9k is untouched.

Not on weekends for Gardens, you have to collect on weekdays. Not sure about 1U.

go apply on weekdays, get within the day (hours varies).

no such thing as 'get on the spot'. bank need time to process, approve, emboss card.

apply on weekend, they will wait till weekday to process anyway.

No wonder I can't pay over the value that I owe. Always have the unsuccessful notice.

normally maybank need record of loan repayment of how many months to approve credit card application?
I only have 4 months of loan repayment to date, is this sufficient? Or can i pay the loan in advance to make the records look better?

Hi,
I'm an expat and opened a maybank account more than a month ago. Already has an FD account as well.
Mayy I know when's the best time to apply for a CC for a better chance of approval?

I only uses my maybank account for FD purposes though since my payroll is coming in my CIMB account.

there are no such thing as when to apply for better chance of approval. As long as you work more than 3 months, meet the salary requirement and with a letter from your company there should not be a problem.

I got my 3 maybank CC without any loan repayment. As long as your CTOS and CCRIS is clean and you meet the salary requirement I don't see the reason why your application would be rejected unless you already have a few cards issued by other financial institutions.

because i was rejected by citibank credit card. When i tried to apply another card via imoney.com, their rep told me it is difficult to get card approved if i dont have record of repayment. my salary and statement is definitely fulfilled all the requirements, no outstanding debt, no PTPTN loan, i only have car loan that just started 4 months ago and i paid promptly every month. So i really have no idea why i got rejected.

my salary crediting bank is ocbc, their card not attractive in terms of perks. Used to use MBB as salary crediting, hope can have chance on MBB CC.
