Janji can get 5% CB. Don't mind slot in.

The McD terminal is pin enabled ready?
*
Not sure but have never been asked for PIN.

just wondering if people get waive for mbb visa signature card (means has not been charged AF after 1 year) even your spending does not qualified for waiver

I think it's more appropriate to ask in this thread: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=4067746

All the McD I have used at the counters are Paywave.  Perhaps the original poster has a different experience.
*
Try waving with AmEx card. smile.gif
Only AmEx card gives cash back for McD's on weekends. Maybank Visa/MasterCard gives nothing.
On normal weekdays, I will use my HLB MACH card which I use PayWave.

AMex card dont have wave feature right?
At least mine dont have,
*
QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Dec 21 2016, 04:59 PM)
Yepp, dont have. Think she meant slot in terminal (but no pin needed at MacD).
*
Yes, it doesn't have.
I was merely telling cwtien that it is not possible to do with AmEx though all terminals in McD's come with PayWave.

Just wondet Maybank credit card expiry after 3yrs... Is all the card expiry after 3yrs? How if the card expired? When will bank send the new card?
*
They will auto send the card when near expiry date. For Maybank is quite late, usually in the expiring month.

Is it possible to pay bills using AMEX card? (Unifi, utilities, etc.)
*
Yes but no TP at least for utilities.

QUOTE(yusiang @ Dec 23 2016, 03:33 PM)
For contactless payment, McD terminals support Visa paywave only, they don't support Mastercard paypass.
*
Already reported in CIMB thread, someone finally can use MasterCard contactless payment on McD's terminal.

Finally a little relieved after found out that my CIMB CR MC contactless payment is working. Previously cannot be used at McD.
*
QUOTE(yusiang @ Dec 23 2016, 04:08 PM)
Impossible, you are probably misinformed.
*
I quoted from CIMB thread and it was just reported recently or I misunderstood the meaning of using it in McD‘s? Not sure.
I have not tried before because I won't waste my cash back, I'm better off using Visa HLB MACH or AmEx during weekends.

QUOTE(hustlerism @ Dec 23 2016, 04:13 PM)
So if no TP, might as well just use online banking to pay the bills?
*
Well, you can apply other cards which give cash back.
If pay with CC, you can play with free 20-day interest period.

The interest rate of this card is 8.88% p.a. if we make prompt payment for the past 12 months. If we do not use for 12 months consecutively and hence do not make any payment at all, which interest rate is going to apply?
*
If you do not use, why need to pay interest? blink.gif

PIN & Pay will only be mandatory implemented on 1st July. Many merchants still bypass PIN now.
