AmEx cannot link to PayPal for MYR currency, only Visa or MasterCard but if foreign currency then it's fine.

ahhh no wonder try so many times purchase local product via PayPal Amex always cannot.

For me this is my 2nd card perhaps bank need to see some kind of credit activity...i only apply for gold card because i only want the amex card . 

My card arrived yesterday but too bad im not at home to open it need to wait for 2 more weeks before i come back. M2U so easy can straight away change pin no & activate card. Since I applied for the card i always peeped out on any shop if they can accept amex. Not much over here in sarawak though  candidly asked if i pay dinner at a hotel using amex they said it will include extra 4%...is tat true?

I have a question here. My statement date is 18th every month. I have spent 1k in March and received the rm50 cash back on 1st April.

Do I have to wait until the weekend after 18th to earn new cash back again?

The example given in the maybank2u faq is not very clear.

FYI, this is what Maybank FB reply me when I ask about bringing credit cards to foreign countries.

Kindly be informed that there is no activation needed for credit card retail overseas transaction. For credit card usage via the overseas online website or overseas, there will be additional charge 2.25% (VISA and Mastercard) on top of the purchase while for AMEX card will be 2.5% on top of the purchase amount.

Generally, there will be a PIN usage of credit card and it is subject to the country and merchant acceptance, as an example for Australia and some European Countries, you may be required to key in your Credit card PIN number. However, there are several countries are still not using the PIN & Pay method. Thank you.

Walked in to card centre at 1U, requested to change statement date to be 1st of every month.

However, officer said no 1st can be selected, either 31st or 3rd and 7 working days is needed.

Also, paid TNB bill using M2U via Amex card, after few minute, it has already reflected in TNB account, so efficiency

Dont know whats wrong with m2c amex, it keep decline when i use at petron, 2 different petron also same, decline after input pin processing.

Not sure anyone had posted this before but there is a kiosk at JPJ that accepts Amex.

Just came back from renewing my roadcsr Road tax at JPJ.

There is a kiosk there (must be new, never seen before)  where you can check summons, renew Road tax,  car insurance and other stuffs.

Tried renewing my road tax since waiting line is long at counter, it was surprisingly easy and even accepts Amex.

Not sure whether JPJ office are open on weekends else can consider coming over the weekend to renew Road tax.

Haha, guess that's not much use then. I do a lot of online shopping so I'd like cards that can give rebate...

Both petron in genting. Didnt try others card, i want the campaign cashback, Called 24service, they say system down cannot check.
