That's really surprising of Digi, but I think it's a good move though with the new plans. The plans does seem better value now except for removal of music streaming data. What Digi can do is to make it an optional add-on like say RM5 or below for 10GB of music streaming data.

I like the new postpaid plans' Border Roaming plan: when in Singapore can use 5GB and 60 mins call at RM5 for one month.
*
Yea, great deal especially for those staying in Johor but working in Singapore, RM5 a month is a great bargain. No need to get another SIM card there already.

Digi may be getting more people switching over with the release of the new plans. Now, will the network be able to cope especially at busy/populated areas?

isit able to use 4G on weekday? coz it dint writen clearly
*
Let's take Digi RM50 plan as an example, it comes with 5GB all-day quota and 5GB weekend 4G quota.

Weekend: Connected on 4G, deduct weekend quota until depleted, only then it will deduct from all-day quota.

Weekend: Connected on 3G, straight deduct from all-day quota.

Basically, it has nothing to do with whether you can use 4G or not. It's about which data quota it will deduct from on weekends depending on whether you are connected to 3G or 4G.

Last time, telco offers special plans for certain states/areas, so people in Klang Valley complaint.

Now, there is extra weekend quota only if you're on 4G, so those living outskirts without 4G coverage will complaint.

so if there's no 4G, effectively it's only 5GB per month?

Yes that's one way of looking at it.

4G for iPhone 6S plus, iOS 10
LTE for iPhone 6S, iOS 9

Is it due to different iOS ??
*
Yes, iOS 10 came with a new carrier update for Digi changing it to 4G instead of LTE.

Digi may be late but better late than never, Digi introduced its own yearly phone upgrade program called Digi Easy Up.

Just as I predicted, prepaid subs continue to decline, while postpaid grows.

Prepaid customers are leaning towards Maxis Hotlink while postpaid customers are leaning towards Digi Postpaid.

How about trying to update to iOS 10.1? I think there's also a new carrier update inside this update.

Try to unregister and then re-register phone number at your bank's ATM, this usually solves it.
