Yes u may subscribe under family plan and after 1 month usage then ask the sc to change into a principle line.
3gb data for RM28 thats the cheapest plan so far. Good for 2nd line.

Thanks!

hmm... I guess its all about properly managing / juggling the 25GB+100GB(LTE mode only) at this point. A wee bit ridiculous (for the top up) since they now charge RM10 for 1GB (nearly that) on average, compared to the previous plan where they gave out 8GB for RM10 (valid for 7 days)

Now I really have to think about:

98 (older than the current 98)
- 10GB (all day, no app quota)
- 15GB streaming for music quota (which i don't quite use despite having spotify, since i tend to download my songs over spotify library due to out of fear of using too much data)
- 4GB rollover
- 300 sms (which i don't use much)
- 5 hours worth of voice call (which i can't finish, but utilize kaw kaw)
+ 8GB (7 days) for RM10 (the cheapest GB/RM ratio in the top up for the plan) or RM0.80 PER GB

or

RM110
- 25GB all day
- 1000 sms (nice)
- unlimited calls to all networks
- 3GB rollover (very nice gesture, even if its only 3GB)
- 100GB LTE weekend (only LTE, and only on weekend)
- share 12GB internet for RM50 (that's the cheapest GB/RM ratio in the top up for the plan) or RM4.16 per GB (sigh, but i guess better than the RM10 per GB ratio in other top up plans).

Am I missing anything else?

One weekend to go before billing cycle ends and I've only used <11GB of weekend data.

Watch me blaze through 89GB this weekend.
/jk (Not happening... biggrin.gif )

New usage habit though; now I only do OS & apps updates in the weekends.

Really? If its also available on 3G, its fantastic.
The sales rep (customer service) told me it was only usable if we're on 4G. You sure about this? I'm more inclined to believe user reviews though LOL

Some notes on my roaming in Singapore with RoamBorder last week:
  • Singapore aviation rules now allow the use of mobile phones the moment the plane touches down (like the US).
  • Digi 2G EDGE is full signal on Changi Airport runway/taxiway!
  • Starhub is quite straightforward to latch on to.
  • Starhub's 4G is mostly Band 3, only a few popular places are Band 7.
  • I only used 200-300MB in one week, since I didn't stream. Mostly map navigation, WhatsApp and reading the news only.
  • No more scrounging around for free WiFi, although more places now have their own WiFi's.
Overall I am quite satisfied with my RoamBorder experience. My only criticism is Digi never sent a reassuring SMS confirming I am on RoamBorder. Instead, when I first got on Starhub, they sent a text promoting another package 2GB in 72 hours for RM25, so it made me hesitate and wonder if the RoamBorder will work or not.

Yes, that was my experience also. When the phone went down to H+, the usage was deducted from the weekend bucket, not the main quota.
