I also got sms from them upgrade to 6Gig from next bill. I am under contract too.
I am not sure how it will work because my basic quota is 3 gig + 2 gig special + 1 gig rollover. Does this mean my basic quota will increase from 3 gig to 6 gig? |

QUOTE(tympg @ Dec 1 2016, 01:26 PM) I just spoke to a Digi CS rep at a Digi Store. They say the current postpaid offerings are not subject to restrictions on VoIP calls. not blocked Can any postpaid user here confirm they can make VoIP calls? Most postpaid plans come with free calls to local numbers anyway. It makes no difference for them to block or unblock VOIP. But I am not sure if they would block VOIP in the lower tier postpaid plan that does not come with unlimited calls. In business point of view, it makes sense to block VOIP for postpaid plan that does not come with unlimited calls, as it will encourage customers to upgrade to higher plans. But so far not yet implemented. Unlikely too due to stiff competition among local telcos. This post has been edited by Chrono-Trigger: Dec 1 2016, 01:34 PM |

QUOTE(kroul2 @ Dec 24 2016, 12:19 PM) I think our local telcos have stopped promoting 3G now, and encouraging users to migrate to 4G by offering all the weekend extra/unlimited 4G.It could be that the 3G network will be decommissioned first before 2G. 2G has a wide reach to rural areas, and it's not easy to just shut it down as it will affect communication in rural areas. It makes more economic sense to stop investing in 3G, and divert all the resources to 4G, while doing some minimal maintenance on 2G network. QUOTE(sss2sssss @ Jan 3 2017, 11:22 AM) hmm ok seems is not that call charging The recurring fee is your Postpaid 50 prorated fee. It's happen right after the plan I change is successfully activate [attachmentid=8346053] So it's still normal? It seems is the deactivate and reactivate the data plan from Postpaid 50 to 80 does apply a Recurring fee? Or just they put it first then recalculate during the billing come which is after 8/1? |
