If your simcard is old enough usually they can change FoC,

If not they charge like rm10 to replace sim card ( treated as you lost your old card )

Iinm for maxis hotlink if your old card is not 4G, you can change to nano 4G FoC

if u cheapo and want the convenience you can just cut it with a scissor
I had cut more then 5 piece all working perfectly, just pratice caution and try follow the outline as accurate as possible (actually meh simply cut just make sure it fit the sim holder and dun cut over the chip, u can cut into the chip no problem just make sure the sim chip still left 6 section intact lol)

i was desperate...went to maxis but they said they no specialised tool to do it. went to digi next door n they did it for me for RM5. the digi guy repeated n confirmed with me three times that if my sim card cannot be read after cutting, he not gonna be held responsible.

worked out fine for me. took like 20 seconds

In the future, convert all your SIM cards to nano. Later just use adaptor. No need to cut or pay money.

By standards, Nano Sim is a little thinner than average Sim cards. if the reader spring is not good, u'll experience bad signals, dropped etc
