Hi all,

I have a Technicolor TG784n v3 router and have two devices connected to it via Wifi on the same LAN (A: 192.168.1.78 and B: 192.168.1.80).

I have a service running on port 10001 on device A which device B can not connect to (just a telnet test to the port). I can't even ping device A from device B, and vice versa.

However, I then tried connecting both devices to another wifi AP (cisco), and I am able to telnet to port 10001 on device A from device B and can also successfully ping.

Does the TG784n have some sort of strict ruleset even for connected devices sitting on the same LAN? If so, I would really appeciate pointers on how to get rid of it.

I checked the settings and there isn't any AP/client isolation setting, which is super inconvenient for a home network. Bad choice of routers from Maxis... I've read how some people just cascaded another AP after the router just to overcome this issue... Thanks for trying to help.
