I joined desolation and got 700ping, it was during 6pm something like that until 8pm. I just chabged to crystal desert and have 200ping which is so much better, that was 10pm. My question is if the time i play affect my ping, like as in 6pm where everyone plays will that affect my ping or is it because of the server i am in. Currebtly in crystal desert but i only see like 5 player in the starting area for human so far. I like crowded servers so yea any suggestions and can someone answer my question above. Thanks in advance

PvE are megaservers now, means they combine the population from all servers into one map, provided in same database (NA or EU). so transferring server won't be any different.
pings are not affected by account home server. most likely by telco internet traffic routing to USA. you still in CD ? what's your id ?

I have no issue with my Streamyx connection, currently running 1Mbps speed. Average latency 280ms to 320ms. Some time international routing had issue then the latency might goes up to 400ms, but not always.

QUOTE(mrtammy @ Oct 6 2016, 11:00 PM) I joined desolation and got 700ping, it was during 6pm something like that until 8pm. My question is if the time i play affect my ping, like as in 6pm where everyone plays will that affect my ping or is it because of the server i am in. Thanks in advance Unfortunately if you like big crowded servers you aren't going to have much luck if you want smooth gameplay (I'm assuming you are talking about wvw since you mentioned those server names). You will face lots of skill lag even with a low latency on zerg servers. Sometimes you'll get lucky though and it won't affect you as badly. Afaik, there aren't many servers that have total hour coverage with zergs but you'll find some with good numbers to play with/against. Prime time is always the constipated hour. The bigger your server, the longer the queues, the more skill lag. Usually on EU servers the ping generally gets better settled around 10pm server time (I think that is about 6am'ish our time?). The times you stated, are they local time or server time?
