the owner go with media with this news, isnt he or she? why cant the owner give the device back to samsung for investigstion and log a report with CPSC who now investigate the note 7 issue. nothing better to get the governor offical involve unless u up to something other than the note 7 safety.

CPSC is involve in the investigation. there is no way they will hide the truth. for the recent airline case, the devise is also investigate by samsung with CPSC help. there is no way to know the cause of this without checking it.

I read the news that the investigation is lead by samsung with CPSC help. I not sure if they hire any third parties to check. But recent note 7 case in korea, they do hire the Switzerland SGS to check on it. SGS found it to be cause by external shock and not the battery problem.

I do believe lithium battery is very dangerous.  It may get explode if charge wrongly like using thied party charger.  Note 7 also no exception.

But unfortunately all those news that you've shared is really like diminishing Note 7. It's not about how many post that you've shared recently. It about the cause and effect of doing so. Of course it's not against the rule, but if a news shared without verifying sources it will cause havoc. Just like the jeep case, when it first get shared here, it was blow out of porpotion. And I realized back then it just a news to get more attention. How can a people leave their phone unattended on a bright sun? That is kind of obvious right? And yet people here still share and without considering. One who've shared the news should have take the responsibility on how far is true is the news.
