its only been nine days though...but im kinda happy coz the last migration was kinda sucky....

Yeah.... last migration kind of sucky but it did create a mega charmander nest near me. Took it for granted and only farmed one short trip and now its gone

Nest change again yesterday so everything posted in the past is not accurate anymore.

charmander is particulary hard to farm, i only had enough for a full charmander to charizard only recently.....after that, not a single charmander caught....

I suspect is Abra nest now @ Stadium Shah Alam. Just now used Pokemesh managed to scan two Abra there.

Confirmed taman bandaran kelana jaya is now shellder spawner / nest. Caught 2 today evening.

update from PD waterfront, went ytd, more mankey and diglet now....less sea creatures....anybody else can double confirmed this? i dont think i will go waterfront anymore, not as exciting as last time in terms of spawns....

for viewing i think no need... u'll need it if u want to add a field report..... malaysia less users but some of the reports are legit

holiday inn glenmarie very big area, kinda hard to pinpoint charmander's location as well due to radar being down.

but the amount of charmander is sorta more than laman seri shah alam.

omanyte nest probably at taman jaya (not confirm), read from pokemon go malaysia facebook page

gastly nest at taman rekreasi bukit jalil (confirmed), caught around 20 gastly within 2 hrs

Thanks to you, got enough Gastly to evolve to Gengar now.

Thanks to you, I got 13 Seel here just now too. The frequency is rather low though. Like 3 of them in an hour.

From 9.45pm caught my first Seel here and camp till 1.45am and now managed to have enough candies to evolve to Dewgong.

If u heading there, check out dataran PJ first. Suspect it spawns there as saw in sighting when driving by.

Dataran PJ (just across the road from Tmn Jaya, behind A&W) is confirmed to be Omanyte nest. Have camp there for maybe estimate around 5 hours and manage to catch about 7-8 Omanytes.

Btw yesterday I only managed to spend 15 minutes at Holiday Inn Glenmarie to see if there's any Charmander there but couldn't find any at all. There was 1 pokéstop with lure and it was 2am. Is it true this place is a Charmander's nest?

it is, but without radar it's quite hard to find the charmanders.

i found 4 charmanders within 30 minutes there, without lure.

Charmander isn't even in the sightings. Maybe I'm just at the wrong place at the wrong time. And the fact that I couldn't spend enough time there at that time. Maybe the spawn rate is different according to the time of the day?

im not sure if it is my timing that is not good or something, first day i reached at 11pm++ and manage to get 3 Omanytes, then it was nothing from 12am to about 2am,then only 1 spawned. Went home and came the next day around 4pm++ for about 2 hours, only got 3... so its either my timing not good, or they spawned that slow haha

Based on my experience camping on nests. There are "rest periods" whereby the hunted pokemon won't spawn for a long time, sometimes up to an hour with ZERO spawn at all. But there are moment where up to like 3 or 4 spawn at the same time. So if you camp like a long time, if you average it out....overall the haul would be ok.

Happened to me when I was camping charmander too, but i left after being chased away by their security. Now camping Growlithe instead, the spawn is pretty good & there's also "rest period" after some time. Arcanine is anytime better than Charizard anyway.

If you don't mind sharing, where is the new nest for growlithe? Tq.

I see.. I'd just want Charizard for Pokédex btw.

Wait for the trade le, supposedly by this month. The Charmanders usually spawn in the middle of the golf course or inside the building. Only once in a while it'll spawn below either 1 of the gym & at the hotel entrance Pokestop. So I guess the management got annoyed with players running around the hotel & golf course.

Unfortunately, it spawn in a religious place. I don't wanna be causing more racial tension in our country

It's not that difficult to figure out honestly, already gave the biggest clue. Once you found out, keep it to yourself or at least don't post it publicly to respect that religion.

Niantic only preview about the new capture bonus and gym training. I don't think the trading system is coming any time soon. Especially when they (Niantic) didn't mention anything about it, yet.

I think i've averaged it out at 1 spawn every 10 minutes. The main problem is the area is really huge. So there'll be time when you couldn't find where exactly it is.

Timing wise is uncertain, not sure....i camped 2 days in a row. Suddenly the Growlithes decided to take a break at the same time its spawn peaked the day before.

When you say they took a break, how long was it without any spawn?

Not too sure, 30 minutes at least? Felt like an hour though. Heard some people complaint they waited more than an hour without any spawn.

I don't camp alone, tend to have people with me or I make friends with some random player who's camping for the same Pokemon as well. And we just keep on talking until it spawn again, then go for our wild goose chase till we found it, then back to our central point to chat while waiting for the next spawn. Camping is more fun that way.

Just definitely noticed a period whereby it took wayyyyy long before it spawn again cause we talked about it too.

Just walk along the middle of field (parallel with A&W) when you see sightings. There is 2 spots on left & right and 1 in middle of field (back facing lrt). Monday camp between 4-8:30pm got 7. Nothing after 6:40pm. There are 3-5 of us around only that day.

The orange and black markings does make it look like tiger stripes but if you observe closely the black markings aren't the same as a tiger's. The name Growlithe suggests that it growls but a tiger roars whereas a dog growls. Its evolved form carries a larger indicator in its name - Arcanine, a canine, which suggests it is of a canine species.

Colloquially, it can be called a harimau, like how we call Bulbasaur nasi lemak, or how some refer to Slowbro as "Si Ham Ngau Si Fat" (or cockle bites buttocks). But they are rightfully, as the generation one pokemon designers referenced it from the our real life animal - a canine.

I think it was pretty good at first. But the end was disappointing. I've recorded the time I caught them for your reference.

I arrived at the area at 9.50pm and waited coz no sighting at all until.. .

11.51pm
(went to a&w to eat while checking phones for sighting)
12.40am
1.02am


And here's the disappointing part, I still need one more and so I waited. Kept myself busy with pokémon Y in 3ds xl. Till the clock reached 2.45am and I was like what the hell I better gtfo coz too tired dy.

So yeah 1 hour and 45 minutes (or maybe more) without any Omanyte that made me leave. If I knew it wouldn't spawn that long I'd have gone home immediately after 1.02am lol.

depends on your level but if you're level 30 and above the max you can catch is CP 1019
