so has anyone been to taman jaya last weekend? is it an omanyte nest? mite go there next weekend

If u heading there, check out dataran PJ first. Suspect it spawns there as saw in sighting when driving by.

Dataran PJ (just across the road from Tmn Jaya, behind A&W) is confirmed to be Omanyte nest. Have camp there for maybe estimate around 5 hours and manage to catch about 7-8 Omanytes.

I thought Seel nest was slow, seems like Omanyte is even slower.

Btw yesterday I only managed to spend 15 minutes at Holiday Inn Glenmarie to see if there's any Charmander there but couldn't find any at all. There was 1 pokéstop with lure and it was 2am. Is it true this place is a Charmander's nest?

it is, but without radar it's quite hard to find the charmanders.

i found 4 charmanders within 30 minutes there, without lure.

Charmander isn't even in the sightings. Maybe I'm just at the wrong place at the wrong time. And the fact that I couldn't spend enough time there at that time. Maybe the spawn rate is different according to the time of the day?

im not sure if it is my timing that is not good or something, first day i reached at 11pm++ and manage to get 3 Omanytes, then it was nothing from 12am to about 2am,then only 1 spawned. Went home and came the next day around 4pm++ for about 2 hours, only got 3... so its either my timing not good, or they spawned that slow haha

Based on my experience camping on nests. There are "rest periods" whereby the hunted pokemon won't spawn for a long time, sometimes up to an hour with ZERO spawn at all. But there are moment where up to like 3 or 4 spawn at the same time. So if you camp like a long time, if you average it out....overall the haul would be ok.

Happened to me when I was camping charmander too, but i left after being chased away by their security. Now camping Growlithe instead, the spawn is pretty good & there's also "rest period" after some time. Arcanine is anytime better than Charizard anyway.

If you don't mind sharing, where is the new nest for growlithe? Tq.

Wait for the trade le, supposedly by this month. The Charmanders usually spawn in the middle of the golf course or inside the building. Only once in a while it'll spawn below either 1 of the gym & at the hotel entrance Pokestop. So I guess the management got annoyed with players running around the hotel & golf course.

Unfortunately, it spawn in a religious place. I don't wanna be causing more racial tension in our country

It's not that difficult to figure out honestly, already gave the biggest clue. Once you found out, keep it to yourself or at least don't post it publicly to respect that religion.

Niantic only preview about the new capture bonus and gym training. I don't think the trading system is coming any time soon. Especially when they (Niantic) didn't mention anything about it, yet.
