QUOTE(ianho @ Feb 6 2007, 07:17 PM) QUOTE(hypermax @ Feb 6 2007, 07:34 PM) Not really, as the casing does not come in contact with the computer components. A casing's heat dissipation is purely dependent on the airflow of the casing. Correct me if i am wrong. not really need to in contact actually. heat need to travel in a medium.so, it can travel via air and also can get through metal.in this case, just when it travel from air to metal, sure Alu which have better heat dissipation properties can dissipate out the heat from the case well...at least this is what i learn after 3 years become materials engineering student... QUOTE(hypermax @ Feb 6 2007, 09:43 PM) Oh, ok. But let's say you have a very good airflow in the case, then the air circulation would bring majority of the heat out of the casing instead of dissipating through the alu panel right? So the material only affects at most 1-2 C? haha...i'm not offended la.we are here to share aour knowledge right??yess, u r right.that's what i mention earlier, air circulation will help the most to vent out the heat.so, if u have good/improved air circulation inside ur case, heat prob no more.... Btw, i am not doubting your knowledge, just wanna know more. Sorry if i've offended you in anyways. |

what a nice casing.gold connector makes the casing looks elegant..but the HDD itself will cost a bomb!!if using plain HDD sure will looks dull...

QUOTE(tyrion4 @ Mar 17 2007, 06:23 PM) Last time i checked, aluminum was something like RM12 per kg only. Haha, even my dad made a comment about some of these computer stuffs being a little overpriced. Can't blame those guys for chocking (or doing cartwheels for that matter) haha. can't blame those manufacturer la.they even have to pay cost for their employee etc..hardwork of the engineer also got to be paid...unless u wanna built your own case from those Al urself, its must be cheaper... |

ianho always poison us with highend stuff arr...cannot tahan meh..
personally i love the Tj09 design which is boxy, same like classic series of Lian-Li.. for silverstone with much less pricey, the external design not bad but the internal materials are SECC... |

QUOTE(phunkydude @ Oct 23 2008, 05:23 PM) From wat i see, the time&effort only applies during the 1st installation? (unless you often upgrade ur hardwares) yeah, its hard if u often upgrading ur hardwares. but to maintain the wc also need time and efforts as u need to carefully change the water, check the loop for any bubbles etc....u cant just run a wc system for a year without any maintainance.... WC not bout OC only, WC also for those who hates cleaning dust' with full WC builds, cpu+nb+gc u can strips any fan, making it zero fan inside ur case. = zero dust. it saves ur much hassles provided the pump doesn't fails u. |
