Did you use credit card or debit card? If yes there is an alternative option where you might able to get back your money.

Visit the credit card / debit card bank website or contact their customer service and seek/request for chargeback (aka dispute form) on that particular transaction (not longer than 6 months ago) for refund. However you do need to provide their customer service with supporting documents such as sales receipt, e-mail correspondence, documentation on the delivery date, etc...

All banks in Msia are subjected to heed customer request on charge back, however where the bank refund the money back to you depends on the supporting documents given to them. From what I read about your case if should be quite strong (provided you are able to provide those supporting documents to them).

Example of the charge back form can be found by googling "credit card charge back Malaysia". Its the merchants nightmare but consumers gift (thou not many people might be aware such avenue is available).

I think it is a tough industry n only the largest survive. With Alibaba coming in and its deep pocket, I doubt anyone can compete. With no competition, the good old time is nothing but history.
