For best after sales (so far I've encountered), greenfone.

I got my RMN3 pro from them but it came DOA (bricked or wat I dunno, not me brick ). So I walked in their shop straigjt without bringing receipt (didn't come with one), and they replaced me another new unit on the spot no question asked.

7M is also very friendly.

yeah i saw many ppl complaint about directd.. avoid at all cost if possible

directd is one of the main direct importer of phones here in Malaysia, hence their prices can be consistently cheaper (not necessarily cheapest).

Of course, their AP warranty cannot compare to manufacturer warranty in terms of lack of hassle. AP has to go back to country of origin. There's a reason price difference AP and ori warranty is so stark.

Do they actually send AP sets back to the country of origin for repairs...? Or do they repair in-house...? If they do send it back, that would explain the time it takes to repair one...

As I understand it, no-one with AP warranty does in-house repairs. If anyone does, directd may be able to (purely based on volume), but imagine the staffing costs to keep around staff with knowledge of each of the hundreds of models and how to service them), compared to just staff who know the features and to convince customer? Probably cheaper to ship each phone back to country of origin (China, SG, Thailand etc.) and ship back repaired.
