Interesting... so Capcom seems to think that the 360 GPU is extremely capable...

So I guess since PS3 which AFAIK is based on 7800's core isn't gonna be as good as Xbox 360 right?

So does this means PS3's graphics aren't as cracked up as it should be?

I though graphic-card mongering/whoring are limited to the PC section of this forum, last i left it was still there. Guess there's nothing much to "monger" about in THAT section of the forum and the folks there had to come in and stir the "pot" here. Oh well....

From the very article you are proudly quoting, thanks to the mangled Japanese text and translation you had there on that blog, already the excited girlish fanboy in you proclaims that the Xbox 360 GPU "can hang with the Geforce 8800", when the quote only states that the 2.5D motion blurring aspect of the Xbox 360 GPU card that "can hang with the GeForce 8800", not the other specs of the Xbox 360 GPU in general.

Pfffft, fanboys these days grasping at straws for the most trivial of things. I'd rather be PLAYING Lost Planet than discussing the merits of the game based on what it is playing on.......oooops, im sorry, it's only on Xbox 360 for now. Tsk tsk tsk......

I think most of the problem is because the VGA over heat or something...
the gpu only with passive heat sink can perform like 8800... even 8800 need 2 slots fan to cold it down......

self modify water cooling anyone ?

Well maybe i will mod... if after warranty...
my unit have to wait for a year more... haha...
i'll put in a fan to blow it... for better purpose...

BTW... it is amaze that y MS don put a fan there...
