Hi guys,

With our imacs or Macbooks, what bluetooth keyboards is recommended or you're using currently?

Now I see are just Logitech K811 (for mac) and K810 (for win). Unless u also wanna include those china ones (which i've no idea on their reviews)

Please share? confused.gif

I used to use Logitech products with my Mac but I kept on having issues especially with the bluetooth connectivity (I constantly have to pair them) and after a while, I just gave up on using them.

Went and bought the first generation Apple Wireless Keyboard and Trackpad (the ones that requires the AA batteries) and am very happy with them. They perform flawlessly.

I asked the Sales guy what's the difference between Magic and the old one. He said old one needs AA batt and not rechargable. I said well, easy la.. go buy rechargable batteries wouldnt that be cheaper and easy?
he said: "But if u buy a full set of rechargable batteries + the charger, with the extra cost might as well u get the Magic version.

Eh eh.. betul jugak! biggrin.gif sweat.gif thumbup.gif

The only difference which I see using magic wireless and my current wireless keyboard is that the four arrow keys are bigger. Other than the built in battery, there isn't anything much to shout out about.

The double AA battery I'm using right now, most probably only able to stand for 1 or 2 months with daily usage. For me, it's quite battery hunger keyboard if compared to logitech k750 wireless keyboard using solar.

That is if you buy brand new and you don't have a set of rechargeable batteries. Search through the garage sales and you might find a gem or two. Got mine for RM300 (mouse and keyboard) from a seller on Carousell.

thanks for the tip. hunting in carousell now biggrin.gif

What do u guys think of those 3rd party keyboards. Ive tried both the ver1 and ver2 of the apple keyboard. its a typist keyboard actually so its quite ok for me (but somehow i feel ver2 is better feel).

But online reviews seems to be overwhelmed with users saying the logitech k811 is waaaaay better. including tons of amazon reviews. I cant test it in msia as its not officially available here. so whats so special?
It was said that the logitech keyboard resembles the MBP keyboard the most. but the prob is.. I hate the current MBP keyboard~! rclxub.gif
