Hi. I have bought roadtax and insurance and passsed the roadtax to the workshop where my car was being repaired since the previous roadtax expires while the car is still there.

I recently collected my car and just realized that the roadtax is missing. Now it is after office hours and I will most likely have to drive the car for 2 days without roadtax, service center probably only opens on Tuesday, almost 3 days from now only can find out where the copy of the roadtax is.

May I know how and the cost to get a replacement today or should I just drive without displaying roadtax, if so what are the potential consequences?

Driving without roadtax is not compoundable. If you get caught, you need to settle it in court.

That's also mean that you might face jail time.

So if I get caught and bring road tax receipt to court will it be ok? I have to bring my car across state. Might not be able to get the physical road tax in time. Probably have to get a runner/poslaju to send.

Do not display the road tax itself is an offence.

Figure the rest by yourself. bye.gif
