another good thing for aftermarket chipset cooler and proc cooler is no need to worry about the proc cooler will block chipset cooler..coz on stock chipset cooler,it just barely warm, claims by coolaler and a taiwanese user

You mean comparing the northbridge temperature on this motherboard with other 965 board? blink.gif

I still can't catch up on what you mean on your post up there. sweat.gif
*
since nb is cooler, means stock nb cooler will do the job edi..don need to change to aftermarket chipset cooler

Now i understand. tongue.gif

But then, if you were to use a 3rd party heatsink, won't that make that board perform better? brows.gif

PS. Coolice, no offence but, i really can't catch up with what you're trying to explain earlier. laugh.gif

Added on April 12, 2007, 5:03 pmfirst view
1)the nb is not hot is not true to me..pretty hot with noctua running passively..around 42c
2)no holes for nb chipset, only can use clip type
3)have a hard time to reach 500fsb at first few boot..but now its ok..probably is my temperature
4)can fit hr05-sli with tuniq but hr05's clip is not tat tight

need to figure out how to select boot device menu b4 boot from hdd now,but afterall still a good board..

below is my first boot pic but now in my case and watercooled edi

Hey nice clock speed!! How much vCore u feed?
Higher vCore setting from mobo give huge advantage, can support higher clock speed if equip with good cooling.
*
see the smart guardian..XD
default vcore + 0.7xxv
using watercooling now..my previous really report my temp damn high..

As an aside, can we not discuss what Robyncom is selling for since it's not worth talking about TBH
