Is it that bad? I just ordered mine last Friday, waiting for it this week.

Were told it's really unlimited data & quota. So the 20GB max and slow speed after that is a myth?

Okay I just got my webe sim. Put it on OnePlus 3 (which is 850mhz supported but on their website don't list this phone), got a message my phone is not supported.

But I follow the instruction to put the APN at the back of the sim card. LTE shows right away.

Question is, will I be charged as non-supported phone? While it clearly supported 850mhz. hmm.gif

I think for those phone that support 850mhz doesn't mean is certified by Webe.

I will update after Webe replied my question here

Hi there. Your phone is supported however, we have no tested the phone for compatibility on our side. We have to test if this phone is compatible with our webe 4G LTE. Since we havent test, it will not be on the list. You will not be eligible for the discount at the moment untuk we test out that phone.

Got the answer. Sad but true. laugh.gif

Time to terminate the webe account...?
*
Nope, now I already put in my P9 Plus which is certified by Webe.

Just that I will get charged by using its data in non-certified phone.

QUOTE
Sorry to say but you will be charged since the phone has not been certified yet.

If I choose mnp and register online, I can go to sunway to collect the simcard and wait for the application to be processed?
*
If you choose for delivery then you cannot self pickup unless you choose pickup at store then you can.
I already mine last week, ordered on Friday, want to self pickup as I already at Webe Shop by accident. Cannot self collect.

Yes bro. Name is webe and apn is webe.
Do I set it right??
*
If you have to setup manually which mean your phone is not certified by Webe yet.
Btw, I managed to get 4G on OnePlus 3 when it first arrived to my door. But later on, I just changed to my P9+ as I don't want to be charger RM60+ because OnePlus 3 not certified yet.
Even though it supports 850mhz

i wonder it's a good move to terminate my current phone plan and go for this webe.  hmm.gif

phone = maxis mop98
home = time fibre broadband 100mbps
office = unifi biz 30mbps
*
Unless your unifi's office is under your name, they cannot detect you're using Unifi at all.
I even asked them how will they know if I'm Unifi subscribers and I don't want to pay extra RM60 just Webe don't know I'm using it.
They said the information we are given to them, they will know.

Webe is a collaboration of TM and P1 .. of course they have your database .....
*
I know about that, just to make sure they don't simply charged us RM60+ just because they 'don't know' we are Unifi subscribers. They don't notify us by SMS either about it like 'Yay you are Unifi subscriber...'.
We as consumer must double confirm with them and don't simply agree with their own fault. laugh.gif

unifi is not under my name.

that's why i still hold whether to terminate my current plan as my current plan is sufficient. less use phone data in the office or at home. cause will be using my notebook at home while pc in the office..
*
By far, Maxis is better in term of coverage and speed. Just that their plan is capitalist enough laugh.gif

If unifi not under my name..is it possible to have that discount?
*
Seems no coz they don't ask for your unifi details. They just use your information to search if you are Unifi subscriber.

So it seems that I have to use my dad name since my unifi is under his name?
*
That's the only way for them to know you are Unifi subscriber. It's best to contact them first.
