I ask a webe customer service rep can i MNP a digi number to my current webe number? He said yes but then direct me to register another number and said when choosing the phone number just enter the number i wish to MNP. I said i only want 1, not 2 webe number. Explaining this to him waste 45 minutes of my life. He later told me it cannot be done, only can register a new number and later terminate the first acc. Seems too much work though for MNP process
*
I also ported my Digi prepaid number to webe without any trouble. Just follow the online instructions https://www.webe.com.my/shop/mnp

Can tethering?

You guys will see these popular words for maybe few days.

FAQ

2. Can I use my phone as a hotspot?
Yes. You can purchase the Personal Wi-Fi Pass at RM6.00 for two (2) hours (excluding GST). This pass is activated immediately upon purchase.

What to do. Some really lazy to read the thread or even use the search topic for keywords. No offence in asking but same question been asked over and over before do not stimulate the forumer to independent thinking aka spoon feed.

Telekom Malaysia is going to merge together with Celcom again. TM mobile division Webe is going to go under Celcom after TM have merged with Celcom.

Interesting speculation indeed.

hi sorry if my question is repeat one..but webe can use with mi max or not? read somewhere mi max are not compatible with webe
*
Mi Max 4G LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 7(2600), 38(2600), 39(1900), 40(2300), 41(2500)

So the conclusion Mi Max LTE band will be not suitable for webe band5 850 but for 3G (Celcom) no problem.

Some subscriber reported Webe LTE unstable in certain places. Some just doing fine but not really up to LTE standard speed. For stability like me,I locked it to 3G which is riding on Celcom.
Kindly check your location coverage at https://www.webe.com.my/shop/coverage/?pagetype=4g

Ap set. 😊
*
Well, yours an AP set right. If from Mi Malaysia, the Mi Max can support webe 4G band because after I checked with Malaysian Xioami website , I found this:-

All official sets of Mi Max (Except sets from Lazada & Telcos) should come with a THORUS sticker.

Network bands
FDD-LTE: B1 / B3 / B5 / B7
TD-LTE: B38 / B39 / B40 / B41
TD-SCDMA: 1900 / 2000MHz
WCDMA: 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100MHz
GSM: 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900MHz

I also experienced that problem before using Redmi Note 3 pro with other telco. In the end I used the voice verification code.

Hope webe user here can help me to answer some of the question :
1. This promotion is until when?

2. Let say i take this promo today, once the promo end will the discount stay forever or it will revert back to "certified phone+P1/Streamyx User" to get this price?

3. If let say i subscribe 3 line and line number 2 want to terminate, will the line number 3 stay where it is (discounted RM 20) or it will fall to number 2 (discounted only RM 10)?
Thank you in advance  notworthy.gif

If you want a precise answer, better ask webe at their facebook page because you will get confusing answer here. Unless someone here already done that, then the advice will be more reliable.

So now, can use usb modem to pc?? no charge?

How sure r u on this??

Anyone else??

It wont be charge in your bill. You have to buy the tethering pass first before you can tethering. I'm referring to phone tethering actually. As usb modem... brows.gif
