Its not about them, as they have the full right to demand a deposit from foreigners.

Being a student in Malaysia is not a heaven, and lemme just rephrase "I'm a foreigner who can't pay RM300 deposit when the refund takes 3 months to be paid".

Urgent situations need solid, not easy to get for an expat. On the other hand, RM84 monthly is less than what I have to pay for prepaid plans (there's no TM in the building).
