Interested to port into Webe, they have online option and store option.

1. If opt for online purchase, will my current line been terminated before Webe SIM card reached me ?
2. If opt for store port, I presume quick like other telco's ?
3. I'm currently on Maxis post paid ( contract ended ), so I have to paid current outstanding first ?

Webe 4G network didnt cover my workplace at Cyberjaya cry.gif , I know it will fall back to Celcom 3G ( correct if I'm wrong ), is there obvious speed difference on Webe's Celcom 3G vs Celcom's 3G ?

Thanks in advance biggrin.gif

I walk in to sunway piramid on sunday.
After 30 min, Digi msg me to confirm port out.
Monday noon change to Webe dy.
Make sure no outstanding. If current bill not yet settle, its ok.
Celcom network more stable atm.

Nice rclxms.gif Actually I want to test Celcom only, been with Maxis for many years although still satisfy ( best coverage and stability IMO ) but wish to test Celcom.

Am on Webe biggrin.gif not sure for good or bad ( coming from Maxis )

Speed test at Wangsa Maju Section 2. Definitely not as fast as Maxis, I could finish download speedtest apps in few seconds while Webe took near 20 seconds, but at least it's stable so far.
1:59/58/57 on 3G
1:56/55/54 on LTE

maxis cekik darah... tipu kuat tongue.gif

Not really. They are expensive, but there's reason, strong signal and coverage, speed and all. I've been Maxis user for many years, always the same scenario, when friend with Digi line complaint no signal, I'm still browsing Internet.

I port out because after so many years, I think I should test new thing.

I ask a webe customer service rep can i MNP a digi number to my current webe number? He said yes but then direct me to register another number and said when choosing the phone number just enter the number i wish to MNP. I said i only want 1, not 2 webe number. Explaining this to him waste 45 minutes of my life. He later told me it cannot be done, only can register a new number and later terminate the first acc. Seems too much work though for MNP process
*
Should be no issue port out. I did mine with Maxis, post paid ( so I should be still owe Maxis for this month ), completed next day within 24 hours.

Dunno man, i downloaded a couple of files earlier at 12mbps speed, after exceeding 1gb my download speed drops to hell. Dunno if its server issue or webe throttling, but facebook and insta still loads fast though
*
Maybe they start throttle based on file server etc. It happened on most of those telco with 'unlimited' data plan like T-Mobile, throttle this throttle that.

Guess I have to stuck for 2-3 months ? As I paid RM106 when I port in, which said will be forfeit in 1st month bill.

celcom just announce new plan. RM80 for 20GB, RM98 for 40GB, RM150 for RM60. and yes, the stupid weekend data is still there. the weekend data is half of the data stated.
*
Personally I dont care how many GB per package. Give me 1GB data, but whatsapp/youtube/FB etc popular apps's data not charge.
On my previous Maxis postpaid, my monthly usage are below 1GB biggrin.gif as I dont open FB/video/IG on mobile, dont like it on small screen even 5.7"

webe 4g is simply shit
you may try to switch over to 3g (using celcom 3g infra) and it will likely be a lot faster if your area is good with celcom 3g
*
It's P1 what, expected shit biggrin.gif
My issue was, when fall back to Celcom 3G, still shit cry.gif

It did not work for me, it is kind of headache when using whastapp swap to new phones. I use webe as second line so it does not matter to me.
*
For whatsapp, they always super slow, need to request few times or depends on luck, it's the same when I'm still at Maxis line.
