Same here, subpar performance on both 3G and LTE. And my line just activated today after the SIM took like 5 days to reach my hand. Not a great sign of things to come. Plus I'm only getting two out of five dots of LTE even when I'm fully inside 4G area (Cheras). I've opened a case and they said they'll "get back to (me) in a few days". By the way, I found another issue with Webe:
iMessage and FaceTime won't activate for numbers on Webe. You will only be able to access them via Apple ID for now.
When I contacted the chat team, they "are working with Apple" to fully support their services.

same here. i'm usually on 3G instead of LTE (2x stronger signal) and i've been getting intermittent disconnects where my iPhone is stuck on no service for a couple minutes for a few days now. now i'm forced to LTE becuase 3G finally crapped out tonight, but apparently only data. voice i think is working, but i haven't tested. btw, i contacted livechat earlier at 5pm and they said they're "upgrading (their) network to improve the LTE service" and that I "won't have to connect to 3G anymore" after the upgrade. maybe they're adding voice-over-LTE? or making the network officially Apple-compatible? QUOTE(kuronoku @ Oct 14 2016, 02:44 PM) no problem for imessage since mnp from celcom. can use imsg since day 1st webe (last sunday). Can you check under Settings > Messages > Send and Receive and see if your phone number is ticked? I MNPed from Umobile (where iMessage was usable with my number) but on Webe I can only use iMessage with my Apple ID.

Okay so I've been using Webe since second week of October and this is what I experienced. Details after the jump, but TL;DR = had some teething problems, but is satisfactory now. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I had a slight issue during SIM delivery where It came a few days later. So then my MNP was also delayed. After that I experienced poor coverage at my house in Cheras (despite location was under full 4G coverage). I lodged a complaint via live chat. Then my uni started and I moved to the dorms (Gombak). Much better coverage: I could get LTE indoors even when my dorms weren't covered under 4G in the map (but only 2 dots). I decided to turn off LTE and stick to 3G, which had full 5 dots of signal. Everything seemed OK except that my iPhone lost signal for minutes at a time occasionally. Again I lodged a complaint via live chat. Fast forward to this past few days and today. Everything seems fixed on my end, and speed is satisfactory; I only had the no signal problem once, which was fixed when I re-enabled LTE.

QUOTE(bbwai84 @ Oct 21 2016, 06:15 PM) Arghh.... rush down jbcc to apply. Was told that certified phone is only for local iPhone. Overseas set r not entitled for certified phone rebate...... hardware-wise international and local iPhone 7s are the same (exceptions are iPhone from us/hk/china/Japan). what is their way of determining? have you try someone else's webe SIM in your imported iPhone? i think that cs doesnt know much. QUOTE(bbwai84 @ Oct 21 2016, 06:25 PM) They told me that iPhone bought from Sg is not certified phone. So, there is no rebate. Then Sg set iPhone entitled? Any1 using Sg set iPhone ? that rep is bullshitting you. all iPhones around the world mostly support the same bands. even the if it's us or UK or whatever iPhone. trust me i know my iPhones. basically they have no way of knowing if yours is imported or local set, so if it's on the list it's fine. even got one forummer here using webe with their japanese iPhone, they didnt get any "device not supported" message. QUOTE(mztang52 @ Oct 22 2016, 08:36 AM) yeah like i said, all the iPhone still use mostly same network bands. if you look at the page, they all support webe's 850 Mhz network. i'm also confident they have no way of telling whether an iPhone is local or imported. only Apple knows, because that info is based on serial number. carriers are only exposed to imei number, which can only tell basic info on what kind of device it is. why don't you head to the webe shop and test out using one of their SIM cards? or borrow someone else's SIM? QUOTE(azhar75 @ Oct 22 2016, 09:49 AM) Basically, Apple manufacturers 4 different models of iPhone 7: To know which models supports which bands, refer to: iPhone 7 Frequency CheckQUOTE(azhar75 @ Oct 22 2016, 10:04 AM) Guess that all iPhone 7 models (aka A1660, A1778, A1779 and A1780) support Band 850MHz... this page has all the info you need on LTE support: http://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/as u can see, the iPhone sold in Malaysia is the same as iPhone sold in Singapore as well as most of the world. starting from 5s/5c and later, all iPhones support the same bands. well mostly, with a couple extra bands for certain networks in specific countries. so they have no way of telling whether it's local or foreign. even so, i believe got multiple forumers already said it's ok to use imported phones with webe. one use Singapore model the other use Japan model.

QUOTE(zher4883 @ Oct 22 2016, 10:21 AM) From IMEI, they could tell the model number. But so far all the model support band 5, so I don't understand why webe made such a fuss over it. lack of knowledge for CS. besides, even model numbers don't really tell which specific country.

webe might have it's problems but for me it's okay. it's really refreshing and freeing to stream a tv channel (CBS News) and watch the election results unfold live.
