Thanks!!
It sound not make sense, that mean those signup within the promotion period but yet fullfill the TnC, end up They going to pay for 139 or 199. make sure they terminate the line after 2 months. Webe should consider this
*
The promo is to encourage ppl to test their network performance. If after 31st December happy with the performance, signup under my "Scheme" lohhh.... only need to get certified device by trade in current phone and buy the certified device... iPhone 7 Plus 256GB Jet Black perhaps... LOL...

Of course there is the trouble to port in-out-in later after not happy testing...

Star Wars the Good Side answer:
"Only certified device will get RM60 discount"

Star Wars the Dark Side answer:
" All non-certified device will work with 850MHz or other spectrums so long as the device is hacked "properly" and risk of line being suspended is always presence."

p/s : I'm on the Dark Side and no bill shock at the moment...

I have purchased webe mobile line(s) during #webenow promotion. Am I still eligible for the #webenow discount after the promotion period?

Yes. You will enjoy the #webenow discount for each line purchased until you terminate them.
*
Don't terminate the line because you will lose the number. Must port out to other telco. Unless, the webe number is dummy, then can terminate lah...

It did not work for me, it is kind of headache when using whastapp swap to new phones. I use webe as second line so it does not matter to me.
*
Smart move... don't rush port ur main line to webe. Test properly all services before decide to fully migrate/MNP to webe.

That's the reason of all this temporary promo until 31st December...

At least, webe can gauge their current spectrum can take many users without congestion issue or not... we the existing users should report to webe if we think there's performance degradation over these few weeks compared to last month performance ...

so long not reading the post in this thread~
guys, you are quite correct on the 1 byte = 8 bits but your calculation is wrong.
1kB should be equal 1024bytes
1MB should be equal 1024kB
1GB should be equal 1024MB
216000000000bps should be divide by (8*1024*1024*1024) which resulted 25.15GB
while 21600000000 should be 2.52GB.
hope this clear up those people who still confuse with bits, bytes, kilo, mega and giga~
every 1000 units in bits is 2power10 which is 1024~
*
Thanks for the update...

This is the second month of using Webe. This P1 service is getting from Bad to Worse.
When is the most suitable time to terminate at the end of November? One week before?
*
Sure want to terminate...? You mean port out is it...

Can port out anytime coz the bill / charges will be pro-rated accordingly.

thanks, which means all sms features are included except MMS?
so tac should be no problem?

My line has no issue with TAC. But the OTT service sometimes can sometimes cannot. 2-step verification from Google, Yahoo and Outlook totally failed all the time. Already escalated to webe like 3 weeks ago until today no improvement...

ott whatsapp not working also gg la...
but cannot be picky, 79 unlimited data other telco cut throat like jxb kor

but I think the dl speed for 1mb-3,4mb would be slow. sweat.gif

My OTT for Whatsapp is working. Only Yahoo, Outlook and Gmail cannot so far.

Speed depends on ur location and time of use. Lahad Datu can get 17Mbps to US server... go buy house there...LOL...

This is what happened AFTER 1st Nov, webe opened to general public...LOL... Malaysian NEEDS unlimited data, not unlimited calls or SMS...

The answer to your question is :
Here...

Next, AFTER 31st December, the famous question will be,
"How long to port out and get back my balance...etc..." LOL...

Guys why fast and speed test.net shows different result?
*
Fast.com is connection to United States of America...it will definitely be drastically lower than speedtest.com becoz speedtest is between your device to next 5 - 10KM location...

Take a car... drive from KLCC to Ampang Park... (aka speedtest.com).

Drive the same car but from KLCC to Johore Bahru....(aka fast.com)

In reality, we mostly connect to servers located outside Malaysia. So, fast.com result would be more "ideal"...
