Basic rule in order to get webe sub-line rates is ALL sub-lines MUST be under one single uno myKad... that's the main culprit to get all outsiders to join the "scheme" ... unless, one only use webe for data/broadband alone (while calls, SMS and others maintain in current SIM/number), than having another number for webe registration is the "safe" route so far...

Therefore, dual-SIM certified phone is the optimum option. If carrying two phones in the pocket is viable, that will be better as well...good for those using Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro (Malaysia variant or AP set flashed to Global ROM).

The optimum combo :

Current number = SIM 1 = MNP to Umobile U28 package (the cheapest...and NO CONTRACT....) or MNP to other PREPAID service that offer lifetime / long-life "active" without top-up. This will ensure TAC, 2-step verification codes is received properly.

webe number = SIM 2 = "the scheme" .

In example above, both SIMs wil be inside Redmi Note 3 Pro SIM tray. No need to physically swap the SIM. All inside android/MIUI settings. This is currently what I have now in my Galaxy Note5.

All in all, the bottom figure is higher in long run because need to maintain 2 SIMs for whole life...LOL.. So, act wisely and cautiously...

Fast.com is connection to United States of America...it will definitely be drastically lower than speedtest.com becoz speedtest is between your device to next 5 - 10KM location...

Take a car... drive from KLCC to Ampang Park... (aka speedtest.com).

Drive the same car but from KLCC to Johore Bahru....(aka fast.com)

In reality, we mostly connect to servers located outside Malaysia. So, fast.com result would be more "ideal"...

Unfortunately, webe started throttling inside and outside Malaysia connection...the 1st indicator to port out....LOL...

It's must be under the same ownership so you can port in. If u want new number just subscribed under name on the same email as you register first number lo.
It's awesome currently consume 5gb in 2 days. Lol

Same ownership means all lines/accounts must be under same myKad number.

So, say, line 2 is Celcom. You and the actual onwer must goto Celcom SC to transfer his/her account under your myKad.

Now for line 3. Say it's DiGi. Both of you must goto DiGi SC to transfer his/her account under your myKad too.

Line 4 and 5 also the same.

Once ownership(s) have been transfered under your myKad, then, goto webe (online or walk-in) to port in those line 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or all at once under your webe (i.e. line 1) account/my Kad/email.

The whole process is hyper-tedious and time consuming. Change/transfer ownership requires at least 2 working days. Some telco charges the SIM card (like U-Mobile charges RM10 for nano-SIM only). Got RM10 stamp duty in your bill too for the change of ownership process.

Also, before change ownership, your friend(s) must ensure no outstanding payment/bill/balance in his/her account. To be on the safe side, just ensure the bill balance is "negative figure" before you port into webe.

Once ported into webe, those balance in Celcom/DiGi/U-Mobile/Maxis/etc. you have to chase for full refund to you via cheque (which usually takes 2 - 3 months!!!).

Another issue is, you have to pay the all 5 webe lines under your name UNLESS auto-debit monthly via credit card to individual line holders. Got discount (RM2 IINM...) if pay auto-debit.

Just ensure u trust those 4 owners... if one of them is trouble-maker, ur myKad will be blacklisted (extreme measures...).
