@eXPeri3nc3 I am inactive for some time. Enlightened those that ought to be enlightened? Nah. I won't do that anymore. Retired you know. LOL.
For those who are really intend in Real/Fake/(up to you) Security Software combinations, you can refer to my Siggy. I take NO Responsibility for any mishap caused.
Playing/Fiddling/Using Security Software is in fact a novelty if you know what you are installing/running/scanning/uninstalling/combo-"ing". I will say no further. Cheers!

IMO AV= waste money. Especially those with firewall. Best would be just having Lavasoft's adware ,spybot and hijack that's pretty enough. AV is more like concept of Pacman swallowing polka dots.

well as for me, works well and peace of mind 1st system - AOL AVS + AdWare SE Pro + Windows Defender + Outpost Firewall2nd system - ZoneAlarm 7 Security Suite (this is pretty good i must say)3rd system - none IMO, even with 10 most powerful Firewall/AVs/AMs but not with smart surf, they just ineffective as there's none AVs/AMs/Firewall... Hey guys, anybody want to start a Thread on Safe and Tested Combinations of Security Software? If 2 -3 people agree, maybe we can start one (to reduce people from asking whether like or like that is safe). Cheers!

I would stand neutral, as I don't have a laptop, nor I'm at home now You'll get my point.
