I'm curious. Can I buy a laptop without Windows 10 pre-installed?
I plan to transfer my Windows key from old defunct pc to new one.
Is there such a thing?

Cause I see most of the laptops being sold come in a box preinstalled. Wonder if anyone saw before selling without.

I have two keys. One is came with the ASUS laptop, so I guess OEM key?
Currently using the one I got from Microsoft Dreamspark.
So I have two keys in total. Was thinking of re-using one of it instead of paying extra for another Windows 10. lol.

That's what I'm hoping for:
Windows 10 Home - RM629.99
Windows 10 Pro - RM1099

MSDN Dreamspark offers 3 types of keys: retail, lab and MAK. You'd need to check the website link for your school or ask your school which one it offers.

while the OEM with Asus are non transferable

Oh I see. Dangg it. I means I should have only 1 transferable key but that's good enough. I'll try asking. Hope can get 600-1k price reduction cool2.gif
