Hi all. So here goes the story:

My son is 1 year and 9 months now and since earlier last week, he seems to have lost interest to drink his milk. Prior to this, he had a fever for few days. I brought him to the hospital and the doctor said the fever is just a normal viral fever and true enough, the fever went away after 3 days.

During his fever, he was already drinking less milk. Initially I thought it was because of the fever (he had fever before and whenever he's sick, he will drink less. I guess this is common for everyone) hence he felt uncomfortable so I waited till he was better. However, while getting better and even when he is all good now, he's just refusing to drink his milk.

He used to drink his milk without any problem. In fact, all this while, he could drink more than average (as in more than babies at his age). He used to ask for milk and whenever I made for him, he will drink all.

He used to drink 5 times a day. Each time is 5oz or almost 150ml.

Now he's down to 2 times a day. Each time I will make 5oz but he'll barely drink 2oz.

I feel the changes is too drastic and I'm really curious on the reason.

Btw, he is drinking S26 formula. He has been drinking this formula from when he was 3 months old.

I've tried a new pack of milk, a new bottle and many different ways but it's the same.

He initially refused to drink milk from bottle, then I gave him in a cup with straw. That was fine for 2 days but now he's also refusing straw. He's also refusing to drink directly from the cup.

Anyone who have had the same problem mind sharing anything ?

Buah dia makan tp sikit je. Bubur sampai hari ni masih fail. Dah cuba macam2 resepi bubur tp dia x nak jugak makan. Rasanya silap pada diri sendiri bg dia makan Nestle Cerelac dari umur 6 bulan sampai lah skrg. Buat masa ni, dia masih makan cerelac dia tanpa apa2 mslh cuma susu je x nak.

Okay nanti nak pergi beli scott emulsion.

U have to start from the normal solid 7 months texture. Natural taste start with pumpkin puree, avocado puree and if your toddler get used to it. Try puree a little bit rough. And later porridge n next is rice.

A little bit late delay but better than nothing.

For toddler natural taste n texture are important for their taste buds n speech learning development
