QUOTE(AaronLJW @ Mar 2 2017, 12:57 PM) Yes available, kindly check your inbox PMed you This thread is alive thanks to AaronLJW. It would be good to keep matters pertaining to tyre sale in dedicated [WTS] Garage Sales forum. I am sure it will benefit both potential seller and buyers The sale thread : https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4198832 List of tyre price also available there. QUOTE(AaronLJW @ Mar 3 2017, 11:13 AM) PMed you kindly check your inbox TQ for the heads-up I've reopened the thread, but not sure will anyone PM there as the price is there, I've no way to keep track of Quotation sent to each member. That's one of the reasons why I do not want to post price publicly if possible. I see this this thread is becoming more like a sale thread than discussion on tyres. You may take the PM to offline (i.e need not post to tell the entire community that PM is replied). For those who interested to get quotation from the seller, you could PM directly and I am sure he is more than willing to check his Inbox frequently to answer your question (i.e need not post a separate reply to this thread). For price, it is posted in garage sale in the link provided earlier. Refer to Post #209 😀 Helping this thread to become tidier and more informative. 😄 This post has been edited by mot88: May 10 2017, 11:04 PM

QUOTE(newhouseowner @ Apr 23 2017, 09:52 PM) I used ps3 before and now on ps4. Ps4 win all the aspects. If you looking for better handling, ps4 is better than ps3. You can noticed straight away. By the way, my tyre size is 205/50/R17. Comparison of new PS4 to new PS3 or new PS4 to half worn out PS3?

QUOTE(FuNks @ Jul 3 2017, 10:01 AM) just replaced ps4, coming from ps3 user. felt weird using this compared to ps3, may i ask is this tyre directional? not sure whether they install correctly. or is it only 'INSIDE' and 'OUTSIDE' ? I changed PS3 to PS4 also feels weird. Tyre grip seemed much worse off than ps3. I run the tyre for 200km but still slippery. Once the tyre 'seasoned' it is much better. I never encountered tyre so slippery when new, not even on ps3 previously.

Slippery as in not grippy. Looks like there is a thin layer of oily stuff on the thread when hand touch over it.

Encountered territorial heavy rain on Jalan Mahameru heading towards Jalan Damansara this evening. The PS4 size 205/55/16 in my car is about 1000 kms. My verdict that this tyre does not cut the water as well as my previous PS3. Can feel more evidence of aquaplaning compared to PS3 resulting in the need to hold the steering more firmly.
The PS4 for this size is sold with 'extra load' marking, I believe it is the same as other sizes which also made in Thailand. It means that the sidewall is much firmer and the tyre is bumpy. Yes, it is much firmer compared to PS3 of the same size.
The tyre also sounds squeaky (not to be confused with screeching sound) when turning round and round in a car park with smooth cement. Previously using PS3, no matter how hard I turn (within the speed limit in the car park) there is hardly any sound . To counter this, I have to pump the pressure higher which resulted in even more bumpy ride. PS4 likes to be on higher pressure in order to utilise its capability.
Sad to say that PS4 also has a very small rim protector compared to PS3. The rim protector in PS3 is very obvious and bulging out to protect the side of the rim against accidental kissing side kerb compared to PS4. Personally, I still prefer old PS3 compared to PS4 as it is all rounder for daily city drive and occasional spirited driving where esle PS4 seemed to be more happy in 'touge' driving situation.

Got some pictures for comparison of rim protector between PS4 and PS3. Although it may not be very apparent in the pictures but in if you compare the actual tyres, you will feel straightaway. PS4 less visible rim protector PS3 more protruding / aggressive rim protector Attached thumbnail(s)
