Driving a Pug 208 which stock tyres are Michelin XM2 195/55r16. Found out that Michelin Malaysia doesn't stock my tyre after bursting it trying to avoid a rock... so now looking for alternatives. Dealer suggested 205/55r16 but it doesn't fit into the spare wheel well in the boot. Any suggestions for other tyre brands?

You mean PS4 only slightly better than MC5??? Have you really pushed the tires hard, or just drive normal2 only like most people?? If just drive normal2 only then of course would not feel much difference. 

the extra you've paid only shows during extreme conditions, for eg heavy rain cruising or high speed emergency braking in wet, that's where you'll see the differences.

i've learned to appreciate good tire engineering and technologies during a long trip which it was pouring really heavily, my car feels really planted eventhough i'm travelling at a relatively higher speed compared to other cars on the road, there are a few cars fishtailed in corner, some aquaplaned. even my mom who knows nothing about cars was impressed

if you pot around town at 40-60kmh in dry, most tires will sound/feel the same, you might as well go for comfort based GT tires instead of UHP ones

Believe it or not I started to avoid Michelin as their tires are more prone to screws or nails

Hey... I had this quotation from a tyre workshop recently. PS 4 is cheaper by PS 3. why is that so?
PS4: RM 400 for 205/45/16
PS3: RM 470 for 205/45/16

Wow..RM390 + GST is still really cheap. RM420 include GST. Almost same price with PS3

When I asking for PS4, this shop keep promote the PS3.

Than the price is not much different. (initial try to scam me with given me PS4 high price)

I told him, I m currently using PS3. What the heck changing another PS3. Unless you can give me the PS3 very cheap.

205/55/16

Just changed 2 PS4 tyre to the front and old PS3 on the rear..
Price a bit expensive in Penang which is RM470/tyre inclusive balancing and allignment.
While at the shop, one of the dealer is around and mentioned that tyre price going to increase 7% in April.

Anyone know about this? Thanks.

My fiesta ecoboost stock is using 195/50/16, will there be any problem if I change to PS4 205/50/16?
