Anyone experiencing any lag at the moment? My latency cannot go below 1000 today. Last night it is ok. No problem

Today just login, unplayable.

Same here for Illidan server. Can't do anything else but trade or fishing.

Hurhur, heng my account expired today then... Just hit 68 yesterday night and already 1/2 way to 69... Questing xp ftw.

I always connect to 218.111.*.* ip and it gives great latency between 200 to 400 ms and sometimes up to 550ms, but in crowded area like stromwind city then the latency will shoot up to more than 2k to 10k and having frequent disconnection.

lag? i dunno, later i go back try. but i'm in dath remar server though. last night max is only 600+ms. average is around 300

Yes, I play on dath remar as well, minimum lag if connected with IP 218.111.*.*.

now lag.... latency up to 800 900.. so i quit and now doing nothing watching my 15 seasons of simpsons

starting to wonder if Blizz puts some sort of restrictions on IPs on certain servers.

Oceanic Server - Aman'Thul (Full) : 400-500 ms lag
US Server - Hydraxis (Recommended i.e. empty) : 1k lag

Anyone else notices this as well? In Malaysia, that is.

Nope, im on BR which is a high pop server.. 219.95 address gives 400-600

US Server here Mal'ganis 1k ping with 218.111 omg stupid TMNUTZ

I'm in Dath Remar and from 400 ~ 500ms suddenly up to 800 ~ 900ms. Still playable though.

yeap i was there last whole night in dath remar, max shot is 600+ms
but alterac valley is a shithole! whole night only 10 vs 10 players, after 5 mins, get kicked out

not a good indicator though. there are times when i play at 800-1000 ping and it's alright. there's strange 2-5 secs lag spikes that comes once in awhile. that's the killer.

yea last night i was in Thaurissan, from 600 to 800 to 900 then i go sleep hahaha...late ady, today need to work, wonder how today would do?

Last few day I was very shock when dial 219.95 Ip which gv me around 200~300 ping at Shadowsong than yesterday suddenly went high to 800 ping it pissed me and reconnect to 218.xxx it seem fine for me after tat XD

sounds like streamyx is rerouting or doing something fishy. that never changes.

I too am having this strange problem 2-3 days ago.

Here's my take on the problem. The people in this thread seems to me are having 2 kinds of problem.

1) the usual people playing with low 200-400ms latency on usual days, have no problems - until last 2-3 days ago. What happened? I suspect rerouting issues, may not be entirely TMNet's fault alone as they do not own the whole Internet. What can you do ? Well if someone working at TMNet plays WoW, you may be in luck that he'll be diligent enough to find a fix! Otherwise.. QQ more..?

2) the other problem some of you are having is like your bandwidth pipe is very..very.. small. It seems like when you go into crowded areas, your latency will shoot up and you will more often than not, get disconnected. I suspect this problem has something to do with TMNet prioritizing certain traffic going through their network. I once have a friend who has this problem too, we couldn't figure out what's wrong, changed IP, changed modem, reinstalled WoW completely, reformat his PC.. and then one day we tried something. We proxified his traffic to port 80 through a private proxy and out through another ISP and voila! It works again! Traffic prioritization via ports, is what I suspect. In this case I doubt there's much you can do.

Enough theorycrafting for now!..

Back to flying on my mount! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee......

seriously... i got around 900 - 1k ping every nite in thaurissan...
need 2 restart pc 2 change ip...

i hope i get ip that gives me 300 - 400 ping...
otherwise i can't lvl... due 2 lag...
