anyone already used this for over a year with less than RM30k spending and yet didn't receive any annual fee in their statement? my expenditure for the past 12 months is only RM8581.87 and including this month is RM9538.79, and yet they didn't charge me the annual fee~ Just curious is it just me or anyone got this special treatment as well?

yup it's almost june already, i have started using the card since 12/4/16, i think i just wait until 12/4/18 then only can see the 3rd year AF appear~

Already 13 months statement out~ I just wait for the 14th on 12/6/17
26/4/17 is ikhwan for backup purpose in case VS kena AF~

if no waiver just cancel lo, there is so many card in the market given cash back on petrol and grocery, just wait for another 3-6 months later then apply back. for the time being i just continue use it~ i think they saw my usage so low, they don't even bother to charge me AF cos scared i might cancel it right away~

i think they did calculation on the cash back u have taken from them yearly and see whether it exceed the AF or not. For e.g. if you are using exactly RM1760/month and get RM88 cash back/month, total will be RM1760*12=RM21,120, this is not qualify for their RM30k/year therefore they will charge u AF cos u have earned RM1760 over RM550. However, if you don't even get the cashback for RM550 over 12 months, which in this case will be RM45.83 cash back/month or expenses RM916.67/month or RM11k/year, they don't even bother to charge u AF as u didn't take the advantage to get back the cashback to repay the AF. That's y the first year i don't even spend more than RM10k for this card and they just don't charge the 2nd year AF. I will wait and c what happen for the 3rd year. If this continue if i spend less than RM11k, then this will support my statement.

Nope, VS is my first Maybank CC but I have savings account for more than 30 years I think, then before the anniversary date approaching, I start to apply ikhwan and 2 cards.

Like what i have said previously, if you didn't get the cash back for the entire year to pay off the AF RM550, they might not charge you for another year.
That's RM11k if you times with the 5% cash back.
It's almost 1 years and 3 months now and yet i saw any AF charges in my maybank2u acc.

wait for another 3 months and re-apply again.
in the mean time you can use PBVS to spend on groceries.
for petrol, you can apply for Maybank Ikhwan but it is only Friday/Saturday cash back.
Or you can apply Citibank Cash Bate, got 5% for all days but must accumulate RM20 for that month then only got the CB, else it will bring forward.
UOB also got 5% plus additional 2% smart rebate for BHP but only apply to Sat/Sun.

you paid the AF and wait for them to reverse?
I have just called them to waive for the 3rd year AF (they didn't charge 2nd year even though i didn't manage to spend RM50k/RM30k per year) but they rejected, so i paid the outstanding balance except the RM583 and then can cancel directly.
Now waiting for them to charge me the pro rated AF since they told me i have use first 2 days on April for the 3rd year.
i saw your previous post, why need to wait for 6 months?
Can i apply again within a month?

after cancellation Maybank VS last month, there is cash rebate on 30 April. anyone know how to get back the cashback or just write email to them to transfer to saving account?

yes, i cancelled before 30 April, actually it's around 4 or 5 April but i got swipe some groceries expenses on 1-3 April.
At first they told me that they will waive my AF after i pay full balance excluding the AF and they will back charge me with the pro rated AF since i already swipe after the financial year for the credit card.
But after i paid full balance excluding the AF and call to cancel the card, the account appear to waive the AF fully without any pro-rated AF charges like what the customer service has told me.
Anyway i found that the cash back for 1-3 April was credited on 30 April while my card already terminated earlier before but still shown in my Maybank2U.
So do you guys face this before?
It's possible to get the cashback back to my saving account right?

else i will just leave it as it is not a big amount if no reply

i think they got no reason to stop refund to me even though the account is inactive but negative in balance.

i think you better call back to the real call center and double check.
some scammer try to trick u to tell them your card details.

I saw the MBB VS credit card finally gone in my Maybank2U after termination on April. Does it mean i can apply again? Not necessary wait for 6 months as i got others MBB credit cards as well? I thought the 6 months period is only for gift purpose right?
