i actually called them to get them email me the application form.

I applied and was immediately informed 'your application is approved in principle'. Then following day in my M2U already.

Finally, 1 week after appeal by email, the card appears in my m2u and CL increased by 50%!

i don't know how much FD need to pledge...but assuming if it's RM40k...

Assuming if FD gives 3% and if your house loan is charging 6%.... the additional 3% would have saved you RM1200 a year which works out to be RM100 a month....

or any other investment if we can get 6 or 7% return p.a. ....

In normal situation there will be a tracking number or reference number but i assumed there is none for this case.

Pos Laju should not be under Rm0.60 mail rate.
It is at least RM3.00 and above.
Therefore no matter it's drop mail or signature require it should have a reference number nonetheless.

But mine is courier service. The envelope is all blank without posting license.
Therefore it is assigned with consignment note for Pos Laju to refer.

For your AM VS case, it's dangerous to use normal mail rate to mail out CC.
I wonder if there is any BNM regulation on this matter.

submit document on yesterday morning and receive approved sms at evening

mine applied via Maybank 2u last week. rejection after around 30 minutes.
sent another application to maybankardsales@maybank.com.my but didn't have any news about it. finally sent one more to mbbcardservices@maybank.com.my to appeal. received approval sms yesterday. got my card via poslaju today. hehe

let me share my experience 
1) 10/10 - applied on via m2u but did not complete the application, stopped at employment details section
2) 13/10 - received automated email saying application will be automatically cancelled if did not complete by that day
3) 16/10 - received an email from MBB telesales notifying to complete the attached application form and supporting documents
4) 17/10 - replied the email above saying I'm existing M2 plat holder, so requesting to add Barca VS without any documents
5) 17/10 - requesting some info to confirm my identify and to proceed with application without documents but will retain existing CL
6) 19/10 - received email saying application in process
7) 26/10 - received sms saying approved 

though slow but since I'm not rushing to get it, still a great job by MBB

ok, my concern is I have to cancel some cards because they might think I have too many

Prefer to cold storage a card rather then cancel it because maybe I need the CL some day

I should just try to apply Barca, once ringgitplus offers it with the free gifts
