FCB cash back resets on 1st of the month right? Irregardless of the statement date?

My FCB follows the M2C... say I applied M2C in April, then FCB in August. Do I pay SST for FCB in August or April? :S

I remember a fellow forumer on how to get the 10% cash back on May - June, and August - September... something to do with charging on last day of May/August. Tried finding back the post but unable to do so, does this actually work though?

I recalled something like the cash back per month is based on statement date, while the 2% or 10% depends on calendar month?

Based on the TnC, 4) Cash rebate is awarded based on transaction date irrespective of the posting date
(eg transaction dated 30/4 posted on 2/5, the cash rebate will be calculated based on 30/4)

So my auto payment to credit card failed this month (insufficient funds), when I want to pay my FCB card... I selected the statement balance but it came out with an error. Only able to do outstanding balance, usually credit card I do the statement balance to avoid any issues... in this case I need to transfer RM50 (haha yeah the cash back value) into the card? So I eventually meet the "statement balance"?

Affin Duo (Cashback card), will be cutting FCB before SST charges anyways.

Haha in future one belakang kira, why Affin is my favorite now is cause mostly able to use eWallet anyways.

Of course got other cards like LFC and JOP if need to swipe physical or if able to wave type also got QV and well last resort is the FCB until I cut it off.

Same here, going to terminate my FCB this month (next month SST kicks in) since the SC LFC does the same thing plus I get SST rebate too 🤣

Shopee accepts Amex now so... yeah gonna leave it for weekend shopping.
