My card anniversary will be on July. Can meet the rm30k but not rm50k as my card was approved before Dec 2016. Will need to cancel it on 1st July then.
Currently still having PBB VS and MBB 2 Amex. But still MBB VS is my favourite for petrol and groceries as i can use Amex for any ad hoc retail spend, and PBB VS for my bills and online shopping.
Any other cash rebate card for petrol to recommend?

Maybe I can follow you too when I terminate mine in few months time. Meanwhile, pray hard PBB will approve my Quantum (test water) in appealing stage now (got rejected due to PTPTN) before I submit my application for PBB VS which is my ultimate purpose. Petrol is not much of my concern because I don't drive in KL, groceries yes because can reload TnG and help colleagues to do it.

For PBB i applied the entry class classic gold card two years ago with the objective of 0% BT.
And then i apply PBB quantum ,no hassle, approved straight, but of course i'm not entitled for any gifts.
However i did get a Samsung handphone that time for new registration.

Tough chance for me. I want my PBB VS. So that it can be a good replacement for my MBB VS' groceries..

I got my PBB VS eventhough my annual salary when apply still <rm100k. Maybe because I have my housing loan with them so they approved it.

My salary just ngam ngam fulfills but due to PTPTN. Anyway, sorry to OT.

Citi Cash Back Platinum for petrol transaction, monthly capped at RM20 and I heard that the annual fee is kinda hard to be waived.

Thanks. Considering that too, as it just nice to cover my monthly petrol expenditure, and the flexibility to use it on anyday. Dont really mind on the AF, as there is always some alternative, will use it for 1 year and try reapply the MBB VS before the card reach 1 year.

Want to ask. I have been pumping petrol using my signature. However there is no cash back. I wondering why. Anyways do you guys know when they will credit the cash back after pumping petrol? End of the statement date?

If you pump in calendar month April, you will get cashback on 1 or 2 May. So, if you pumped anything in April you should have already gotten your cashback.

mbb tabulate everything at one go at end of the month, then credit the cb on the 1st of the month.

they doesnt count petrol, then give cashback, then count groceries, then give cashback. not such thing.

anyone already used this for over a year with less than RM30k spending and yet didn't receive any annual fee in their statement? my expenditure for the past 12 months is only RM8581.87 and including this month is RM9538.79, and yet they didn't charge me the annual fee~ Just curious is it just me or anyone got this special treatment as well?

Before this VS you are already existing Maybank card user? It might follow your previous card anniversary date. Anyhow better call CS to confirm on your renewal date/month
