In summary:

1. Spend from 1 August to 31 August (up to approx 11.30pm)
- Cashback rate = 10%
- Cap at RM100 and falls within August quota

2. Spend on 31 August (11.30pm until 11.59pm) ("cutoff trick")
- Cashback rate = 10%
- Cap at RM50 and falls within September quota

3. Spend on 1 September to 30 September
- Cashback rate = 2%
- Cap at RM50 and falls within September quota

General principles:
- Cashback rate determined by transaction date
- Cashback cap / quota month determined by posting date
- Caps are fixed - the moment you hit quota for month, any additional spend is wasted

Timing loophole tested during Apr/May by some users (too lazy to search exact sources).

Many more of us have experimented this round and will report in October.

As with all loopholes, everyone is free to test at their own risk and should be aware that nothing is guaranteed.

Re Time - I paid via Time website on 2 August and did not get my CB.

I manually tracked my expenses and there were only 4 other transactions for August - very clear that they all received CB.

I just got charged on 1 July and thankfully didn't use it. Just called to cancel and they confirmed the SST will be reversed

Me too. The person has horrible English, but had all my details and just read some script with a yes no answer, then my address and small. Said that redemption instructions will be emailed to me.
