If it gives you 2% on normal month, it should also give you 10% in May and Aug.

I had the same problem like you and sometimes used card without rebate.

With the recent introduction of BigPay, i had no problem any more.... just load everything into it and use Bigpay alone.
No selection problem any more.

Based on the logics posted by cybpsych, if you spent on last day of Aug, provided the transaction got posted the next day, you can actually get the cashback based on August's 10% and capped at RM50 for September's quota.

if you have other cards with high credit limit, but are not needing them, maybe can try to reduce them and reapply again.
