I've been having this card for ages, until last year kena charged whopping RM550, wtf... didn't realize all these years it was waived cuz my annual spending went past their requirement of 30k.

Pain like heck and couldn't waive it off. This year, I wanna cancel since I won't hit 30k, and worse is, there's absolutely no reason why one should even have this card. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see any benefits using Visa Signature, don't know why we need to pay so much for a useless card.

I was then introduced Barcelona's. Cuz it has 1% rebate for most spendings, more practical. I think that's the next best Maybank card I can consider. Anyone using Barcelona's has any specific points to echo?

Spent the following RM5k on Kiplepay but only received RM20 cashback for Dec. All with saved card and same merchant description KIPLEPAY*DIRECTPAY KELANA JAYA MY. Anyone else experiencing the same especially with Kiplepay?

Was still able to top up RM5k at one go on 10 Nov 21 but no longer in Dec. But this should not have affected the cashback.

Well I've been getting full cashback on Kiplepay for the past few months (June-Nov)? And if Maybank really considers it as e-wallet then I shouldn't even be getting RM20 cashback for Dec.

I managed to get a waiver on a 12k annual spend last year. Got rejected 2 times. Finally had to pull a high connection which won't be available to most people so it fair to say it's near impossible.

Hey everyone. Last week, I applied for this card, and it wasn't approved. They didn't tell me the reason why they rejected me. I tried asking, but none of them did.

My ECRIS record is all good with no payment delay.
I was told to manually register (email all documents) by one of the reps.

Would it be better to repeat this application (I'm looking for a rebate of RM 88) or try applying for another card?

As I'm still struggling, I worry if they reject my application for this card, will it affect or appear on my ECCRIS record?

a) apply same credit card?
b) or apply with Maybank, but with a different credit card?
c) don't apply for any other bank credit card until after six months
