I am existing M2 Platinum cardholder with CL >RM20k since 2011 (first 2,000th M2P customers) till today.
I applied the new card at m2u at 10am, 11/10 (Wed). "Approved in principle" but received an email at 11am (We have reviewed your application, regrettably your application is unsuccessful), and followed by a sms at 6pm.
On 11/10, 3pm, I emailed a love letter (attached with all supporting documents only without application form - a proper application form was not available for download at that time) to mbbcardservices@maybank.com.my. On 12/10 (Thu), I received a diversion note ("to respective unit") then no news.
On 16/10 (Mon), I voluntarily emailed the application form, the diversion note, income documents to maybankardsales@maybank.com.my.
I found that my CL had been increased by 50% last night (after 6pm), appear in m2u this morning but yet to receive a sms.
I didn't call up CS or card centre and I have never received their call. Not really urgent for me since I have got plans on other existing cards.

I am an existing and active Maybank credit cardholders since 20XX.
I am currently holding Maybank 2 Platinum Cards and intend
to apply for your newly launched FC Barcelona Visa Signature card. I
understand that the additional card will share the same credit limit with
existing M2 cards. I feel quite comfortable with the existing credit limit
granted by Maybank.
I have applied for the new card at Maybank2u this morning. The application
was approved “in principle” by M2U but it was followed by a rejection
notice via email. Therefore, I may request Maybank Card Centre to review
again on my new card application.
