Ever since Apple Pay is available for MBB I have never looked back. The only places that don't quite allow Apple Pay is government services and clinics.

Still no sign of Public Bank also.
I applied basic Standard Chartered credit card two years ago just to use Apple Pay. PB is still my main card. |

QUOTE(jiaen0509 @ Aug 26 2025, 12:32 PM) They wont as they got large base customer from citibank previously. time to chop off those who seldom use the card. Besides, uob annual fees is always there. If want to waive annual fees, now got proper guidelines to spend and use the card for annual fees waiver. If never hit the spending, then the card is not suitable for you. Therefore advise to cancel the card.In outside market, got plenty of bank offer cc and it is norm for people to come and go. Regulation and benefit on card also diff. so cannot compare apple to apple.A lot of consideration to think when want to support apple pay/google pay. the question is who pay the fees? Bank must always stay profitable and avoid unnecessary expenses This post has been edited by ericlaiys: Aug 26 2025, 01:13 PM |

Bank must always stay profitable and avoid unnecessary expenses If they don't see the urgency of it, cardholders might as well just cut the card, since they are not going to listen to their customers. Dah la cashback/benefits already revised, yet still doesn't accept Apple Pay, making the card feel so little benefits, no reason to use UOB cards anymore. |
