Hi all, did you guys managed to add your card to apple pay already? If yes, how you all solved the problem?

I called to CS, CS just bs me said they removed token and ask me tried again next day. Then next day said its apple problem. Apple say its maybank problem.

The problem occurred ever since i replace to a new debit visa card

no problem on adding my debit card to apple pay. been using it few month but debit card seldom use.
now waiting for my new cc from maybank. will keep you posted. should be arriving next week

this security token issue is among tiger and apple themselves to know which to solve

I had solve the problem Maybank unable to add card. Just now called Maybank, they said the already tried ti reset the token and after few hours finally I added successfully. Before that, you all may may try change the device name into shorter name, example Sean or Alex. Then tell the customer service your device name and the will try to solve it.

i have been using apple pay/Wallet a lot recently and omg it's amazingly convenient! Was in Japan and the Suica card is easily integrated. Wise card can be used via Apple Pay as well as my MBB. Issue is my CIMB travel card does not work with Apple Pay, am thinking to apply for another credit card, any recommendations with good perks?

CIMB isn’t supported yet on Apple Pay Malaysia.

yeah ...eating their profit margin. if pass the cost to consumer & ask them to pay. sure no one want to use.
therefore better dont support.
the scenario like 1% fees on TNG reload via cc. now everyone make noise.
frankly speaking, want to use tng, just reload via duitnow. Problem solved.
However
a) want to get cashback from cc
b) want to get extra cash without pay advance cash
c) fulfill cashback quota
d) extra 8x point
and many more.....

Ya some ppl sohai sohai think wan maximize their cash rebate thingy. For me i reload 1k i get rm30 cashback is already more than the 1% fee and i can use tng at my own convenient.

Thailand doesn’t have Apple Pay yet. So, my partner has to change the location to Malaysia if wanna use Apple Pay in overseas like Japan for Suica card.

Have anyone try to use Apple Pay in jpj branch? Even though the machine accept Apple Pay but the officer will cancel the transaction and ask you to pay with physical card

Same experience when I went last year, officer doesn't allow.

I wonder why tho, is it Apple Pay have higher charges fee?

By right the MDR charged by the bank is the same (I noticed it was a Maybank terminal). My guess is that JPJ wants the actual card number so they can track who is the card owner, bank name, etc.

After Shell upgraded their credit card system for some of their petrol station, I cannot use applepay mbb amex for paying. No problem with applepay mbb visa/mastercard. Can only use physical mbb amex to pay. Anyone else is facing the same issue?

Mainly due to the new system. Many petrol station don't accept Amex after upgraded their CC system.
