i couldnt connect for the past few weeks as well......but thanks to siawgu, i am using proxy.....it's not fast, but at least it gets the job done....

I managed to create an account, but how the hell do I get Album Artwork for the songs in my iPod? tried Advanced->Get Album Artwork, but nothing seems to happen. help? lol

Some Songs can , Some Songs cant. I think the Album name need to be Correct. No Number what so ever.

Yup, the title, artist, and album name must be EXACT with the one in iTunes.

iTunes seem to connect me to the Japanese store by default.

How do you change iTunes so that it connects to the US Store ?

My setup: Itunes 7.02 running under OS X 10.4.8.

There's a difference between DEBIT and CREDIT card. Visa & Mastercard are Credit Cards where you can owe the bank money and repay them later (obviously with interest charged to you) whilst Debit Cards like AMEX & DINERS means when the bill comes, u need to pay up in full

only when u register an itunes or .mac account, u will need a US based credit card/debit card or PayPal account. once you have an itunes account and log in, you can select your payment method and use any debit cards [:
but dont go register an account yet, let me go look for somethin i want from itunes store and purchase it. so i can 100% confirm that my debit card can be use on itunes store because i usually use my paypal account to buy =P

AFAIK, i have 3 debit cards and none of them have "bills". my debit cards are VISA Electron and MasterCard Electronic. AMEX and DINERS cant be used online.

just google "visa electron" and you should know how debit cards actually works.

for the most simplest explaination of debit cards is that it works exactly like a prepaid sim card [:

tinkerbel, actually there are three. Credit cards are exactly as you stated. Debit cards are deducted directly against an account with money in it, eg. your current/checking account etc. Amex and Diners are CHARGE cards, you must pay the balance in full at the end of each statement.

I've used all three to do transactions online without problems.
