2 questions:

1.
i have an old spoil laptop. However i think the hdd still workable.
How can i take out the HDD and convert it to the external portable harddisk?
the thing to convert it to external, what is it called? SATA 2.5" HDD to USB?

2.
If lets say i want to change a laptop hdd from 500GB to 1TB.. how do i transfer all the window 10 OS installation to that new hdd?
this is what i googled:
http://www.itpro.co.uk/operating-systems/2...rd-drive-to-ssd
any other suggestion?

i think best way is that u confirm the harddisk is useable or not 1st. else u waste money go buy enclosure d.

2nd. just google harddisk cloning. but if it was me, i wont do cloning. i will do fresh install. then just copy files. cloning will include all those junx and useless downloaded stuff.

That's the suggestion that i need.
roughly google how to install a fresh window copy.
my worry is the complication of not knowing whats the window key and problem when have to install it on the hdd.
But i have googled so generally i have got some idea.
Just have to confirm before i proceed with that. smile.gif
