QUOTE(eyerule @ Jan 31 2007, 05:37 PM) well, it requires patient and some balancing skills. the trick is avoid from gripping the the gun. there's actually a slot in WZC's palm in which you can use to balance the gun. once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy. i've made that pose a few times already, never fails |

QUOTE(ShinAsakura @ Mar 7 2007, 03:35 PM) btw, whoami123, if reli tat case, means other astray dun hv tat parts? or they want me to buy other astray =.= it's normal for bandai. mg wing zero custom comes with 2 set of hands, a pair of grays and whites. LMHG eva-00 comes with 2 piece of chest plates. they're just using the same runner for a few models. saves cost. |

i'm thinking to get me a zeta for my 3rd MG. candidates are zeta A, zeta v2 or zeta 3. no zeta C since i don't like the colours. points of selection:
- zeta A: seems more flexible and articulate than the others since the crotch armour is minimal. does not look too bulky. have landing gears. but it's an old kit. - zeta v2: ok. new kit. don't really like the streamlined look compared to the original mg zeta. articulation seems good. huge gun!!! - zeta 3: limited edition, but don't really like the colors. too girl-ish. huge gun!!! anyway, any recommendations from zeta owners. i just wanna try transformable gundam now. questions need answering: - how are the joints after a few transformation? loose? - articulations, is it as articulate as a Mk-ii v2? i mean, will it become clumsy/flabby since the wings look heavy(except for zeta A)? - how durable? as durable as mk-ii v2? |

QUOTE(honeymic @ Apr 5 2007, 12:23 PM) Zeta v1 = can Skip liao ... any comments on zeta A? i'd like to hear more of this guy. i just like how he is not too bulky and still able to maintain flexibility even with full armour on (referring pics from dalong.net). normal zeta are restricted by the bulky armour and huge wings at the back. btw, can the v2's hold the huge gun without prob? Zeta V2 = Nice piece of work. huge based given Zeta Z3 = Limited ... same stuff as Zetav2, but lot of decals, if u havent got a Zeta Gundam Both Also good choice just color different saja. if u plan to play with Zeta Gundam Series. most of the MG kit now are V2 standard liao ... definitely not getting old zeta though. just need sparing partner for my titan v2. |

QUOTE(kct-86 @ Apr 5 2007, 01:20 PM) If you are comparing the flexibility of the Zeta A1 (aka Zplus A1) with the Zeta 2.0, the Zeta 2.0 would run over the A1 with no problem in terms of flexibility, since it does not have the technologies set by the Zeta 2.0. In fact, one of the bigger problems faced by the A1 (and the C1, since it's basically the same kit) is the weak hip joints, something that the Zeta 2.0 fixed. The Zeta 2.0 also has a rotating waist mechanism, something the Plus brothers does not have. But for an old kit, the Plus brothers is certainly something to add to the collection, since they do have their own nice touches (I got both the Zeta 2.0 and the C1). The joints on the Zeta 2.0 is not loose yet, while the Plus' joints have issues with becoming loose. ahh...thanks for that. so zeta v2 is a winner in most cases. hmmm...how much is zeta v2 now anyway? haven't been to any model shop these past few months. zeta v2 doesn't have landing gears right? As for the XBOX HUEG gun, the Zeta 2.0 have handplugs in the hands, and the handles of the gun having the sockets, thus they are able to hold the XBOX HUEG gun with no problems. I've managed to get that guy to hold the XBOX HUEG with only 1 hand on several occasions. ahhann: There are sites teaching how to apply Gundam decals, as the method is different with dry transfer ones and stickers. Stickers work like, stikers, but dry transfer ones need some careful placement. |

QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Apr 6 2007, 03:27 PM) ^ Plasticine won't do... it'l fall off. on the above topic, what about hip's ball joint? can use super glue too? i've used super glue on flat joints, never tried ball joints. my mk-ii's hips is loose because the feet is too heavy. currently using masking tape over the ball joint. it worked - to a certain extent, but maybe super glue can do better? The superglue technique helps, but as you move the joints a lot the dried glue will slowly scrape off. Not a problem anyway, just apply glue again The food wrapper technique I've never tried it yet, but it seems that if you wrap it too thick it might distort the female joint, esp if it's a PVC joint. http://homepage2.nifty.com/W_system/hoby/g...ile/pg-x105.htm i'm thinking of putting super glue on the side of the female ball joint, maybe it'll tighter. anyone tried this? QUOTE(nlik @ Apr 7 2007, 10:57 PM) Her price is competitive 1 lar, no worries. Can't say that everything is cheaper or more expensive as it's usually model by model basis. Just shop around and find your own best price. ok thanks. was thinking of getting my next MG from her, since her shop is closer to my place. Her z 03 stock for that hasn't arrive lor, since she told me target is next week, so don't really know the final price yet. But I have bought several from her, from sg wang and TM, graffity and 1 more on lowyat 1st floor ( that lowyat shop atm selling hi nu for RM240 + action Base which I think is not bad of an offer). |
